Willem Cooper



Tommy, Kyle and Tyler sit down with Willem Cooper. We talk about everything from the early days of his love for mountain biking to present day endeavors. He is the owner of Cycle Craft Fitness, where he teaches sport specific fitness and coaches mountain biking. This coaching also includes the Cycle Craft Fitness Youth Development Team. One of his passion projects is dirtlab, which is a mountain bike frame company. There is so much to learn from him because of all the experience that he has with riding downhill and enduro at such a high level over the years. We also touch on topics such as bike set up, injuries and safety.

DWMG is back at it with The Right Direction Youth Development Program. Yesterday was day 1 of 2 of Biketoberfest. A VIP pre-party hosted by TRD HEAVY Beer Company and Metroparks Toledo. DWMG got a chance to see some of the new merch offered and the items being silent auctioned at the event along with meeting a bunch of awesome people. Let us not forget about the amazing brew offered as well. The main Biketoberfest event is going on TODAY starting at noon located at The Wheelhouse at the Toledo Metroparks Beach Ridge Area. All proceeds go to the Youth Development Program.

Make sure to get out and support these people, They are all doing amazing things! Make sure to get out and support your local lbs and organizations near you and support the love of mountain biking or any type of cycling for that fact!

Hi all!

I want to briefly introduce what this page is all about. Tommy Walker started a Facebook Group Called “Dude, Where’s My Gnar - All things MTB” back in January that has grown to nearly 4,000 members. As we continue to grow, we want to give more to the mountain bike community that we love so much. That’s when the podcast was born. In July, we started plans to add an additional layer of content to those in the group. Once we started to get to know our guests, we realized that these people deserve more exposure than solely our group members.
