I have a couple of new players in one of my home games. Even though we are playing in person, I sent them the digital Deck of Player Safety beforehand for them to signal any hot-buttons they don’t want in our game. Note the green card is the one where a player can input custom topics and it is all still anonymous.

Oh yeah, and they are face-to-face with Xanathar in their first session with us. 😂

Fell into my first paid gig as a DM and ran a birthday party one-shot. All the players (most of them new to TTRPGs) brought their A-game and came in costume.

A week prior, I sent out the digital Deck of Player Safety by Demiplane.com/dops and knew the limits for these players.

As far as plot, those buried at the cemetery at the farm just kept coming back, although a little….off. Definitely don’t drink the green slime coming from the well. So much fun!

Played (yes, actually playing instead of DMing) at the fundraiser at my home FLGS over the weekend to honor the memory of a friend and great DM Tommy Thomas. Great prizes at the raffle table, including some Deck of Player Safety.

Just attended a great seminar by Wizard Staffing Co called “RPGs for New Players” which was an excellent discussion led by Michael and Brian.

They allowed me to highlight the Deck of Player Safety as the perfect tool for a 3-minute session 0 for one-shots.

And Gen Con is underway!!!! Kobold Press has adopted the Deck of Player Safety as their official safety tool and providing a copy at every table. It pairs well with Tales of the Valiant, which looks amazing!
