Girlfriends Guide to Life Podcast: Dating Series Episode 2; Loving My Flaws
Dating today is not for the faint of heart. As a newly single women (u***d) attempting to navigate through this new community where the term “dating” has changed has been difficult. However, it remains fun, and exciting when effort, patience, and openness is exercised. The way people view relationships and commitment today verses 20 years ago has changed tremendously.
For instance, polyamory is more popular today then it ever has been. It’s not a new term... people are no longer hiding or ashamed of their preferences.. did you know that???
Most of our goals in life is to find a mate, build a career, have a family and live happily ever after in peace and love. I’ve been there.. that’s even changed. In my quest to meeting “my love” I’ve learned that I must be healed from any past traumas. I learned I must first love me more than I except anyone to ever love me, I learned that I don’t have to give all of me to anyone... no one ever deserves complete access to my soul and spirit but God. Lastly, I don’t need a man... I want to spend my life with one.
The goal of this four part series is too equip single women with the tools needed to be healthy and whole before meeting your Boo.
This episode I invited Wendy Witmore, Licensed Marriage/Family/Therapy to teach us how to “Love our Flaws”
