Swing by my stream this weekend! Gonna be playing a lot of DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) flying the F-16C Viper, F-15 Eagle and maybe some MiGs! Also planning on picking up the F-18 Hornet and the A-10 Warthog! Come show some love and help me finish this grind to Twitch Affiliate and to Outlaw Squadron.
Earned my callsign last night and I got MAO because I went a few circles with a Mirage and forgot to turn my Master Arm switch in the on position the entire time I was trying to shoot it down (so I couldn’t fire any of my weapons) till I got splashed by a SAM site. Should be some good times and you might learn something!
Little background on DCS for those who are unfamiliar with the game. DCS is a highly accurate and realistic combat flight simulator by Eagle Dynamics. It is recommended to read the actual NATOPS manuals on each aircraft to familiarize yourself with the aircraft’s systems since the game is so accurate and realistic. Modules come in two types, basic and full fidelity. Basic modules are extremely basic and easy to learn as the entire cockpit is not intractable, all commands are done via keys or buttons and more intricate systems such as ILS (instrument landing system) are unavailable to use. Full fidelity aircraft are the exact opposite. All buttons, switches and k***s can be used in the cockpit. Most all systems are useable including ILS, MFD panels, comma panels and switches, radar systems and stores management. So there’s a quick rundown of the game, swing on by and enjoy the show!
