Jazz can be hard. Not the easiest music to get into. With all of the dense harmonies, intentionally complicated melodies and convoluted rhythms, it can require a great deal of concentration and mental lucidity to follow along and enjoy. I can personally vouch for that, having spent a very long time

Thrilled to announce that within a week, on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟮, Almwaya will release their third single 𝗝𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗨𝗫 𝗝𝗘 𝗣𝗘𝗨𝗫. “Yes I want and yes I can”: the song is an explosion of feelings, on a melody played around with various Arabic scales. A liberation ritual for our souls.

The song is in a 5/4 pattern with a bluesy ambience. It starts with a free part, picturing the revival process of oneself until reaching the awakened scream and then the journey begins. The melodies continue to build until the bridge: here, there is a clear vision, as watching the entire world from above.
