Hello, I am Justin Zandvliet, co-founder of RedShot Productions.

It all started for me eight years ago, when I met Laurens. We shared the love for theater, and since the first moment, we have had a connection. Pretty soon after, we also started taking pictures of our light designs. Not long after that, we started on our first big project. Our first short movie with actors we knew from the theater.🎥

My main strength is the organization on site. I’m a director, photographer, and videographer. Because of our passion and broad interest, it didn’t take long before we got more bookings for photos or videos. However, we didn't know what was about to come. This was around the time that the pandemic hit. We thought that it would only become harder to pursue our dreams. But the contrary was true; we started filming theater plays and live streams because they couldn’t have an audience.

Fast forward to the present; our hobby has turned into a job. Taking pictures with my best friend was always amazing. But I could never have imagined we would have a whole team with us now. With bookings all over the country, I sometimes find it hard to believe what our joint hobby has turned into.✨

📸 Hey there, I'm Laurens van der Drift, the CEO of RedShot Productions! 🎬

Let me tell you my story. When I was a kid, my parents handed me a disposable camera, and that's when I first glimpsed the world through a different lens. I started capturing the beauty of nature, then transitioned into the enchanting world of portraiture. Soon after, my fascination with videography ignited, and the rest is history - a history filled with immense passion and creativity.

Fast forward to high school, where destiny had a plan. I crossed paths with Justin Zandvliet, who would later become my Co-Founder. We both shared a love for the theatre and forged a bond that has stood the test of time - eight amazing years and counting!

Alongside my best friend, we dabbled in photography and videography for people, turning our shared hobby into something more profound. As assignments poured in, we realized it was time to get serious about our craft. And since we were always cruising around in our trusty red car, the name "RedShot Productions" was born.

Today, we've evolved into a creative powerhouse, crafting mesmerizing aftermovies for clients like THUAS and TU Delft. But we didn't stop there - we've even added software programming to our skillset.
