Singapore boasts the highest per capita GNI and holds a high-income status in Southeast Asia!

The World Bank Group categorizes global economies into four income groupsโ€”low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and highโ€”updated annually on July 1, based on the GNI per capita of the preceding year.

GNI measures are expressed in United States dollars using the Atlas method introduced in 1989. The World Bankโ€™s income classification aims to mirror a countryโ€™s development level, relying on Atlas GNI per capita as a widely available indicator of economic capacity.

Singapore and Brunei are the two countries in Southeast Asia classified as high income, while Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia are in the upper middle-income group.

The remaining Southeast Asian countries are in the lower middle-income group.

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ Thailandโ€™s proposed land bridge project easier than Kra Canal idea.

The land bridge project is designed to provide a new trade route between the Indian Ocean and Pacific Oceans, potentially bypassing the Malacca Straits, by linking two deep sea ports on Thailandโ€™s eastern and western coasts via a rail and road system linking them together.

The first phase of the land bridge project is expected to finish in 2030, with the final completion targeted in 2039.

The idea of creating a new maritime route by connecting the Gulf of Thailand with the Andaman Sea is nothing new.

Historical evidence shows the concept dates back to the 17th century, when the excavation of the Kra Isthmus โ€“ the narrowest part of the Mon Peninsula in Ranong and Chumphon โ€“ was explored.

For decades, various governments have attempted and failed to dig the so-called Kra Canal.

The proposed Kra Canal Project aims to shorten the travel time & distance for merchant ships which normally have to pass through the Malacca Strait around to Singapore.

If this happens it will change world shipping trade routes & make Thailand a new transit megahub.

Of course, this will affect other countries' economy, which has depended so much on it for its livelihood by being the transit megahub for world shipping in Malacca strait.

It is predicted that Port Klang, Singapore & Tanjung Pelepas will have a negative significant impact because of this project.

Many conspiracy theories say that everytime Thailand announced once again that they would build a canal and divide the Kra Isthmus, at that time there were also riots and separatist movements happened who wanted to liberate the southern provinces in Thailand to be independence nation separated from Bangkok.

7 LAWS OF MENTAL MASTERY

The writer- Brain Tracy in his book; MAXIMUM ACHIEVEMENT said that he
learnt some truths about life that helped him mentally to face life squarely: that life is hard but whatever one will ever become is up to the person and one can learn anything you need to learn to become anyone you want to become, to achieve anything you want to achieve.

He stated seven laws to help you become great on the inside. These laws are;

1. The law of control
This law states that one feels positive or negative about self to a degree which he feels he is in control or not in control of his life.

However, control over oneโ€™s life begins with
the thoughts and that how you think about any situation determines how you feel, and your feelings determines your behavior.

2. The law of cause and effect
It says that everything happens for a reason, whether or not you know what it is.

There are no accidents- nothing just happens. This law is also known as the law of sowing and reaping.

3. The law of believe:
You donโ€™t necessary believe what you see rather; you see what you believe. Belief turns out to reality

4.The law of expectations:
That whatever you expect with confidence becomes your own self-fulfilling
prophecy.

The writer also stated the four sources of expectation which are expectation from parents, your boss, your spouse (or your children or your staff), and lastly the expectation you have of yourself.

5. The law of Attraction:

You invariably attract into your life people and situations in harmony with your dominant thoughts. To have positive and a successful outlook in life, one has to rigorously discipline his thoughts on what he wants.

6. The law of correspondence:
It says as within, so without. The only way; you can permanently change the outer things is to change the inner things.

7. The law of mental equivalency:
It states that thoughts objectify themselves.

Chinese researchers have developed a brain-computer interface (BCI) called SpiralE that connects peopleโ€™s brains to a computer via the inner ear. Unlike other BCIs, SpiralE doesnโ€™t require invasive surgery and can be used daily.

The flexible in-ear material creates a digital connection to the brain, potentially enabling applications like thought-to-text translation and human memory augmentation.

While BCIs hold promising potential, they also raise ethical concerns related to privacy and human rights.

The research was published in the scientific journal Nature Communications and demonstrates the possibility of integrating wearable electronics into real-life applications.

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a summary measure of average achievement in key dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, being knowledgeable and have a decent standard of living. The HDI is the geometric mean of normalized indices for each of the three dimensions.

The health dimension is assessed by life expectancy at birth, the education dimension is measured by mean of years of schooling for adults aged 25 years and more and expected years of schooling for children of school entering age. The standard of living dimension is measured by gross national income per capita. The HDI uses the logarithm of income, to reflect the diminishing importance of income with increasing GNI. The scores for the three HDI dimension indices are then aggregated into a composite index using geometric mean. Refer to Technical notes for more details.

The HDI can be used to question national policy choices, asking how two countries with the same level of GNI per capita can end up with different human development outcomes. These contrasts can stimulate debate about government policy priorities.

The HDI simplifies and captures only part of what human development entails. It does not reflect on inequalities, poverty, human security, empowerment, etc. The HDRO provides other composite indices as broader proxy on some of the key issues of human development, inequality, gender disparity and poverty.

A fuller picture of a country's level of human development requires analysis of other indicators and information presented in the HDR statistical annex.

Bridging the infrastructure gap is imperative for many of the countries in South East Asia, which on one hand are earmarking significant portions of gross domestic product to support large infrastructure projects, and on the other hand are looking for international investors who are willing to enter into partnership on the biggest ventures.
According to BMI Research, since 2000 Japan has financed $230 billion worth of projects in the region (completed or under way), while China has spent $155 billion. China in recent years has exported its infrastructure products and technology across Asia.

China mengalami cuaca ekstrim di lewat 1920-an & awal 30-an.

China mengalami cuaca ekstrim di lewat 1920-an & awal 30-an.
