Team India star batter Virat Kohli is arguably one of the most animated characters when on the field. While Kohli prefers sticking to his work ethics when on training, he equally prefers having fun. The same was on display on Thursday in Barbados ahead of the 1st ODI against the West Indies.The incident occurred during a training session as Kohli batted against Hardik Pandya's fast medium-pace bowling. Virat Kohli is a health freak, and there's no denying that. The talismanic batter has such immense control over his tastebuds that he only eats food that is healthy for him. Such a mentality all but rules out space for junk food, sweets and processed stuff. On the occasion of the birthday of Indian wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan, Kohli's reluctance to eat cake was clearly visible in a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on social media.
In the video, Ishan looked to find a teammate to feed as he cut his birthday cake. Seeing Ishan stand up in search of a volunteer, however, Kohli hid himself behind another player, probably looking to avoid eating cake which generally contains sugar and a few other substances that Virat doesn't like to eat.

The first season of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup will be held at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali. It will feature six teams – Knights, Blasters, Strikers, Phantoms, Falcons and Stallions.
The tournament will have neither a draft nor an auction for selecting players. Instead, the state association selectors will finalise the squads, captains, coaches, as well as the remaining members of the support staff.Each team will play the other side twice in the league stage, following which the top four teams will advance to the knockouts. Both semi-finals will be held on July 28, with the final two days later.

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni touched down in Chennai on Sunday, July 9, two days after his 42nd birthday and needless to say that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain was given a rapturous welcome. Having led CSK to their fifth IPL title earlier this year, Dhoni landed in the Tamil Nadu capital ahead of the trailer and audio launch of his first entertainment production movie ‘LGM’ (Let’s Get Married).
Backed by MS Dhoni’s film production house, Dhoni Entertainment, it will be the first feature film under the legendary cricketer’s home banner. LGM will be starring Harish Kalyan, Ivana, Nadhiya, Yogi Babu and Mirchi Vijay.Both Dhoni and his wife Sakshi are expected to be in the audio and trailer launch of LGM, with the event set to take place on July 10, Monday.
Ramesh Tamilmani is the man who will be in the director’s chair for ‘LGM’ with Dhoni’s wife Sakshi herself helping in conceptualising the project.

Indian cricketers who at presently at Barbados getting ready for the first Test against West Indies which is due to begin on July 12, met with some local cricketers and fans and took selfies as well as signed autographs.
In a video shared from the official handle of the BCCI, cricketers such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Ravichandran Ashwin Ishan Kishan and Ajinkya Rahane among others were seen in various interactions with the fans and some local cricketers.For two days, they are helping us practice. They even went off the field and helped us find the balls which had gone out. They helped us a lot and it felt really nice,” said Siraj in the video.A local cricketer was seen sitting on the stairs with Ashwin and chatting away. In the video the former revealed, “Just had a nice chat with Ashwin. One of the best off spinners to have played the game. It was a really entertaining and informative chat.”

India are touring the Caribbean for the first time since 2019, when the Virat Kohli-led side went unbeaten across formats.

Jonny Bairstow’s bizarre dismissal on the final day of the 2nd Ashes Test has led to a massive controversy in the cricketing circle. The England wicketkeeper-batter was run out by his Australia counterpart Alex Carey as he carelessly wandered out of his crease after ducking a bouncer from Cameron Green.
The incident happened on the last delivery of the 52nd over when Bairstow thought he had secured his ground by tapping his bat behind the crease. The decision was referred to third umpire Marais Erasmus, who ruled Bairstow had been stumped, with England getting reduced to 193-6.
