A Rock & Roll Community in San Diego, CA. \Blind Owl is a record label based in Southern California dedicated to amplifying the Art of Rock ‘N’ Roll.

Founded by Dan Cervantes in 2012, the label has evolved into a true community-centered art collective. With a quickly expanding roster, Blind Owl is working to redefine the experience of Rock ‘N’ Roll in the modern era. The label’s analog heavy catalog is indicative of Blind Owl’s core belief that the finest records capture the spontaneous passion of eloquent rebellion in its most organic form. To

day, Blind Owl continues expanding with audio, visual, film, literary and multi-media releases, pushing the Art of Rock ‘N’ Roll into a new decade.

Steve and his lovely wife came to my house for a home cooked meal and a chat about life, love, my latest solo album “Californias Burning” etc. etc. I just read it over coffee and and was so impressed with Steves ability to candidly capture and portray me with unvarnished accuracy down to my confession at the end of the interview, that I overcooked the beef.
