My story

Hi, I am Yen.

Since 2015, I’ve started teaching and guiding Chinese beginners to learn Chinese language.

I guide my students to pass their HSK and IGCSE examination, school lessons, daily conversation, etc.

I was an engineer working in a petrochemical factory. However, I found that being an engineer is not a thing I really enjoy, and my enthusiasm was not there. Compare to engineering, I prefer languages. I can speak 4 languages and I love them all - Mandarin, Malay, English and Korean.

Just then, I met a group of Koreans. Since I lived in Korea for 6 years and can speak Korean, they asked for my help to teach them Chinese. I accepted. Thus, I started teaching Chinese. I found that I really enjoy teaching Chinese. After a year, I decided to quit my job and concentrate on what I like to do as a career.

I believe I can create more value to society by helping people who sincerely wants to learn Chinese step-by-step in a fun and simple way. I strongly believe that building a strong Chinese foundation is very important to ensure they can go far in Chinese-Learning-Journey.

After seeing their improvement and their smiles after mastering Chinese, I know that I had made a right and yet courageous decision by quitting my job and start my own career.

AND NOW...

I’m constantly sharing my knowledge on social platform (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram). I was very low profile before but I’m glad that I finally do so. Knowing that someone out there is getting value and benefited from my sharing, it drives me to share more.
