Lucy is the lead singer and guitarist for her band, followed by Tom on Bass and Tex on drums.

For this session Lucy delivers her original ‘Adjacent to You’ and cover ‘Borderline with my Atoms’ by Hiatus Kaiyote.

Drawing subconscious influences from the Strokes, Radiohead and of course Hiatus Kaiyote, Lucy delivers a raw and talented performance. You’ll be transfixed all the way through for this episode ☁️☁️

He is joined by his band Harry Wall on Drums, Casey Glennen on Bass, Sam Girvan on Keys and Jack B-Jones on Lead Guitar.

Jim Jams is proud to present our first band since isolation, Mums Tennis Friends! A personal project and portfolio of Ruby Lee, joined by the boys, Finn, Harry and Tom. After coming back from tour in America, Ruby channels her thoughts, feelings and emotions into redefining and reviving Mums Tennis Friends, writing and working to record and mix new songs such as ‘Mental Health’ their new debut single. A raw and unapologetic view into dealing, living and managing mental health.

As restrictions ease and the number of Covid-19 cases in Queensland minimises we have decided to finish up our fortnightly isolation videos. Our final Isolation Session are the boys from . Hailing from Cairns up north, The Bluebottles are the first band to grace Jim Jams! Comprised of Conor and Olly, twin guitarists. The boys bring an indie rock jam reminiscent of Ballpark Music and Spacey Jane.

Our second isolation Artist is Jim Jams very own Sound Engineer Mikayla ! But in this episode she’s better known as . Mikayla is a macrame Queen, a mother of one Haloumi the cat and an insanely talented singer, songwriter and Sound Engineer.

Meet Kate ! Our Director and Co producer 🎬

Kate has just graduated her film degree and is currently doing her Masters. She’s worked on projects ranging from music videos to docos and so much more. She’s also started her own production company Fresh Basil Films.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Kate is part of the backbone of our project, from formulating the structure of interviews to setting up the visuals and directing our Artists. Kate makes the artistic vision of Jim Jams what it is.
