This message to all of my followers has been a long time coming but still feels surreal now it’s here. If you know me personally or have followed my journey since the beginning I imagine you will have an inkling of what I’m about to say.

As of September I will be departing from the sport of autograss. My previous meeting at Bearley was my last club meeting, and I was hoping that if we can fix the car, my final race meeting would be the Border Counties 3 Day festival. However we have not been successful.

The reason for this is because I have secured my dream job after spending over 2 years in the application process. Unfortunately this will put a pause on my motorsport career as I will not be able to continue for the foreseeable. There are likely opportunities in the future but I cannot currently say for certain.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person on here who has taken the time to follow my story, send me comments or messages and even have met in real life. I have made some fantastic friends and great memories with you all. Thank you to Jamie and Ashley for keeping me down to earth with a bit of bullying but also for all the support. Thank you also to my sponsors WB Alloy Welding Products Ltd and P H Hardwills for the supplies, workshop space and continued backing.

Lastly, thank you to my dad. Words cannot describe everything my dad has done to make my dream come true. I will forever be thankful and indebted to him.

I will continue posting up until my start date, then I will leave my accounts up but likely disappear from posting for a while.

Hopefully I will see you all at Border Counties.

Huge congratulations to Ashley at Lillington racing who qualified for the National Championship in Men’s Class 2 👏🏼
