Happy Origin Launch Week! We’re kicking off power-up leeks with neutral class Runes & Charms.

As a reminder, Runes & Charms are power-ups that add all new customization and theory crafting to Origin’s already robust meta!

Runes are special power-ups that can be equipped to your axie. Each axie can equip one rune. Charms are power-ups that enhance an axie's parts and abilities. Each of an axie's six abilities can equip one charm.

What makes neutral class so special? They can be equipped to an Axie of any class - pretty powerful stuff!

Axie Infinity: Origin Launch Week Starts Now!

Welcome to Origin Launch Week! We have a full schedule of leeks & events planned over the next seven days, culminating with the launch of Axie Infinity: Origin on April 7th!

We had originally planned to launch Origin today. After the security breach, we needed to reprioritize some team members, and shift the launch date by one week.

We are incredibly excited to get Origin into the hands of our community! We are going to keep building and moving forward together. Thanks for all your support this week, we need you now more than ever before.

Season 20 Is Over!

This was the toughest season of competition yet and we’ve received feedback that the meta was varied with a wide range of viable team compositions. A large part of this was thanks to the awesome suggestions made by the community.

Over 2,600,000 players participated in Season 20! The prize pool of 117,676 AXS was our largest ever, with a current value of almost 6,000,000 USD. Remember, we will be scaling up these rewards over time through various game modes as our products become mature enough to sustain larger distributions of earnable tokens through gameplay achievements.

We know that many of you are interested in the future of this classic battle mode as we prepare for a shift to Axie Infinity: Origin. Right now, we plan on having a 1 month offseason before moving into Season 21 which would likely be the last season of Axie Infinity: Classic.

AXS rewards for Season 20 will be claimable through your marketplace dashboard later this week. We will be conducting a final review of suspicious activity and win-trading before enabling claiming.

Meet Olek!

Olek is a veteran warrior with a lifetime of fighting experience, who recently retired to become a turnip farmer. Since most of his body is plant-based, Olek has the ability to bury himself into the ground which allows him to absorb the soil’s nutrients and heal his injures.

One of Olek’s most distinctive characteristics is the large scar on his back, which he acquired as he protected his fallen comrade during a ferocious battle many years ago. During this fight, Olek leaped in front of his friend just as a Chimera viciously attacked, nearly killing Olek in the process. He was ultimately saved by his trusty helmet, which he still wears to this day, despite it’s rust and misshapen nature.

Olek is a brave, calm, and patient teacher who loves to share his knowledge with others. It’s no surprise that he was tasked to mentor and train the next generation of Frontier soldiers. His goal is to ensure that each of his students passes the Maturity Ceremony, which is the final evaluation that demonstrates an Axie’s ability to meet all Frontier soldier standards.

Olek is regularly attempting to flirt with the ladies, but it never seems to go quite as planned. Most of the time his students end up saving him and everyone around from further embarrassment!
