Hey Superfans,
I had some time earlier so I decided to open another #Superman action-figure set I picked up a few years back and do a quick review.
This time it’s the ‘DC Icons Superman vs Doomsday’ figure set. While I really like the look of this set on a base level, I have a number of issues with it which I outline in the video.
This action figure 2-Pack depicts one of the most epic stories in comic history, #TheDeathofSuperman. The set comes with multiple Superman expressions and a rubble base and may include the best #Doomsday figure released to date.
Be sure to let me know your thoughts on these figures below! (Alan)
Hey Superfans! I decided to film some of my collection as I unpack it. This video features the Mezco Toyz One:12 Superman 1978 Edition action figure that came out a few years back and is currently retailing at about $125.
This Christopher Reeve Superman is outfitted in his iconic suit from the film, which displays the ‘House of El’ family crest and features a cape with an integrated posing wire. Two head portraits are included depicting Christopher Reeves portrayal of Superman. The Last Son of Krypton comes complete with a Fortress of Solitude base that features a light-up function which can be activated by specific placement of the included Kryptonian crystals, or via an on/off switch.
Superman comes with a range of Kryptonite accessories including a fragment which can be held in his left hand, and a Kryponite pendant with a real chain, as used by Lex Luthor in the film.
Let me know if you like this video and I’ll be sure to include more as I unpack the rest of my collection - Alan
