Did you know Britney Spears wedding gown took the fashion house’s tailors over 700 hours to produce?!
With its classic silhouette and three-meter-long (10-foot) train, the design featured a plunging neckline and capped, off-the-shoulder sleeves. The gown's fitted bodice was pleated in the front, while the skirt split into a deep V-shaped leg slit.
A representative for Versace told CNN that Spears also wore tulle gloves embellished with pearls and a pair of white satin pumps.
Spears accessorized with 62 carats' worth of diamonds in the form of a tennis necklace, tennis bracelet and tear-drop earrings.
The traditional marriage rites in Urhobo land starts when the groom’s family knocks on the bride’s family door called “Ghore-Etuk“.

The young man is invited after, who in turn goes with his family members with a bottle of dry gin.
An introduction date is set when everything has been settled, then the traditional ceremony.

The man continues to reject and compensate them until his bride is presented and the necessary list is also presented.
On the introduction date, the bride’s extended family and the groom’s are all fitted.
They are entertained with drinks and traditional Urhobo songs and dance.
The bride price is also paid with two members from both families outside the house.

On the day of the ceremony which takes place at the bride’s family house, the groom and his family will be seated with the bride’s father and his kinsmen in a sitting room while other guests seat outside, the announcer or moderator known as “mma ofiori ndo” (female) “ette ofiori ndo” (male) will announce each item to be presented to the hearing of the guests seated outside. One of the major items to be presented is a box “ekebe” which contains different kinds of clothing, accessories, shoes to show how the groom will take care of the wife he is to be given.
The bride price “okuk ndo” is paid, “ufop iso eka eyen” is paid to the bride’s mother, “ufop iso ete eyen” is paid to the bride’s father, the groom also pays “okpono ndidi” to loosen the ties on his bride’s feet and arms to officially claim her.

In December of 2018, Joy and Dolapo met at a house party Dolapo hosted, in his home, in Abuja. After a brief conversation, they played a game (rock, paper, scissors), with a kiss for Dolapo being the winning prize if Joy lost - she eventually lost, gracefully.
They later exchanged numbers and went on a couple of dates after. On one of those dates, Dolapo offered to cook pasta for Joy. Then said that if his meal were delicious, she would agree to become his girlfriend. The meal was a disaster - he failed miserably. However, Joy stepped in to salvage the situation. To him, this showed how she would be the partner to compliment him and be there for him with a helping hand. She found the bad joke funny, but the feeling of mutual affection was clear, and ten days after that house party, in January of 2019, their relationship started.
Over the past three years, they have gone on countless more dates, travelled the world together, shared kindness, shared sorrow, laughed endlessly and most importantly - grown together. Now, they tie the knot in what promises to be an unforgettable story of two young people who love each other deeply.
