Back in 2019, I was working at an office, I had a low-stress job, and things were easy.
But I knew this wasn’t for me. I was bored, I felt stuck, I wanted more freedom! I just didn’t know yet how that could be possible for me…

🌎 As a personal project, I decided to move countries and started applying to a few jobs, but…

➖Like many of us, Covid got in the way of my plans.
All my job interviews were cancelled, I was left without a job, and in a new country where I didn’t speak the language!

👩🏻‍💻 So I decided to find a job - any job! But it had to be online, considering the situation.
With a degree in business and marketing management, I knew I had opportunities in the corporate world but had no idea where to look for an online job.

📲 After posting on a few Facebook groups I finally found someone who gave me an opportunity as a SMM.
And I loved it from day 1.

🤓 After about 3 months of working for them, I decided to work on my own business, on the side.
I did everything I could to teach myself the job, used every platform and consumed as much free content as possible.

👩🏻‍🏫 But I also asked for help and had a mentor who truly helped me understand what it takes to be a successful and professional SMM.

🌱 And that’s how .raquel was born. Things evolved quickly, it was a steep learning curve and what was supposed to be a temporary solution became my new passion.

👉 There is no one way to start working online, and plans might not go as expected, but one thing is sure, we need all the help we can get!

I know that even though your business is new, you’re knowledgeable and have a lot to share with the world.

But how the heck can you make things happen for you?
It seems like your business is dead.
No results, no messages, no clients…

I know it’s tough because I’ve been there myself:
👉 When I started I was struggling to put my knowledge into content and most of the time ended up creating entertaining or generic educational content.

My audience was asking me for freebies but not buying from me.

Until I decided to gain authority and position myself as the expert I knew I was.

And let me tell you chica, it doesn’t happen overnight! It takes time to implement change, and it takes effort to show up every day for your business, but it’s all worth it!

I’m sure some of you don’t know this… but recording videos and coming up with content ideas is not new for me!

The only difference is that I used to do it for a more traditional media: TV!
