10k followers without conversion? or 1k followers with conversion?

People are always hunting that 10k followers but neglecting the goal.

But, don't get me wrong.. Having a huge number of followers is great and there's a lot you can offer with that audience.

I am someone who has 10k followers but for the past months I am posting only qoutes then suddenly I am now selling Laptop.

Then, there's someone who has only 1k followers but all of his post all about Laptops and build reputation from his previous customers.
