To become muslim is a big choice.

In a world with so many options, so many decisions on a daily basis... we are constantly making choices.

Before I become muslim I had so much darkness in my life. I suppose thats why I was searching for religion. I didn't know I was searching but I was.

I was chasing lots of things (that I was getting) but then not being satisfied by.

I changed my choices a lot. I would start things and never finish. I would chase things bad for me. I would chase things I didn't even want.

So much confusion. But then I made a choice.

Islam.

And its the only thing that gave me stability in my life.

Waking up for fajr for the first time when I wouldn't even wake up for work most days.

Doing those 5 prayers a day, turning to God whenever I need anything, whenever I'm thankful, whenever I'm scared.. so many things.

Its honestly an incredible feeling to have Islam in my life.

We are all so blessed.

Whats the biggest thing that changed in your life when you started to get closer to God?

Converting to Islam is an insanely rewarding journey but it always comes with challenges.

Family members will disagree, friends will leave, colleagues at work won't treat you the same... its a battle.

But ultimately the peace in your heart will only come with knowledge. Once you go out and learn the answers to your doubts.

We are often told as converts "you can't do that, do this ect ect". So many things we have to change. But know that Allah knows your intentions. You don't have to change everything straight away. And a lot of things we are told to change we don't actually have to change.

Find a trustworthy source of knowledge. Someone who understands and guides without judgement.

After 2 years of being muslim I'm still figuring out my identity. I'm still figuring out the balance of my old self and my new self. I'm re finding old hobbies I left behind battling through fears I've developed and trying to find my purpose in dunya without neglecting my akhira.

Nobody said it was easy.. its a journey.

Most important charity project yet! I will actually be going to nepal to be delivering food parcels for these families inshAllah.

I have partnered with 'orphans in need' to help orphans in the muslim region of Nepal. Orphans in nepal are made to work long hours in often dangerous conditions, to add to the family income. Sometimes these children are as young
as 4 years old. More than 200 million children today are child labourers. 73 million of these children
are below 10 years old. Exploitation, emotional, physical and sexual abuse are common dangers that these children are subjected to each and every day.

The muslims of nepal are often not spoken about in the media especially their mosque bombings and the Islamophobic attacks. They are neglected and need our support. Please support our brothers and sisters in nepal with any donation you can give. Even if its only $1! And please share this with your friends and family! May Allah fill your life with goodness! Ameen

Today I turn 25 alhamdulillah!
I always feel weird this time every year thinking "now I tell people I'm 25 not 24" ... its a weird feeling. Its like I grew one year older in one day. Im at a strange point in my life where I notice myself not enjoying the same things anymore. Prioroties are changing.

Allah has taken me on an amazing journey since I became Muslim 2 years ago. A journey better than anything I've ever experienced. Honestly just typing this makes me cry. I'm beyond thankful.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm trying to juggle a lot of things. Trying to find that balance inshAllah. How do I fit into this jigsaw puzzle? How can I make a positive difference? There are so many things to be done in this world.. where do I start?

May Allah bless you all this year with kind hearts and a strong attachment to his greatness. Ameen.

The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) admired the affairs of the believer, as goodness and success are always on his side, which is unique. The best ally anyone can have...
Have you ever had that feeling that Allah is so close? Like he's protecting you and nothing can go wrong. When that feeling comes you just want to hold onto it forever. But sadly it doesn't stay if you stop trying. You have to keep up with your worship, good character, strong faith and obeying Allah's commands.
