My beloved DJI Mini 4 Pro seemingly fell out of the sky a few weeks ago and it left me without my most versatile aerial imaging tool when I needed it most. After reviewing the footage, checking the area, and doing as much due diligence as I possibly could it became all too apparent...something was very wrong with my drone.
Now that I have my replacement Mini 4 in-hand, it's time to talk about my conclusions and my experience when dealing with DJI's repairs and service team...

Despite a meticulously planned review schedule, life has found a way to, well, get in the way...Originally we were going to start with a flight test of the DJI Mini 4 Pro, but because of several days of high winds in north central Pennsylvania, I felt we should just get out there and put this mighty, mini drone to the test against its sworn enemy...the wind.
Will the DJI Mini 4 Pro stand up to the test and handle up to 30 mile per hour wind gusts or will it blow away into oblivion and out of our lives?

Arguably the most exciting drone release from DJI in 2023, the DJI Mini 4 Pro is available and we are fortunate enough to get our hands on one to review! This mighty, mini, flying machine was leaked throughout the year, but was largely overshadowed by its bigger sibling, the DJI Air 3.
While the release of the Air 3 was huge for DJI, it seems that the Mini 4 Pro has taken most of the consumer drone world by surprise (albeit a pleasant one).

Jersey Shore vs White Hall | Scrimmage 8-19-23
Just a few highlights from today's scrimmage before I was asked to ground the drone...😂 Just to be clear, while the PIAA does NOT allow drones to be operated from the playing facility while contests are taking place, they have no jurisdiction over operations taking place outside and around the facility. I was operating the drone outside of the stadium and did not fly over the stadium. Of course, I did not want to be a distraction to either team or a disruption to the scrimmage, so I obliged their request to ground the drone...this time. 😉 Photos coming in the next post! Again, just not as many as I would have liked!
