Hello everyone! I wanted to come on here and introduce myself! My name is Nikki and as the name of this page says, I’m Always Craving Carbs!

I love my rice, breads, pastries, pasta, sweets… I could go on forever! I really enjoy eating and all kinds of food. So it was quite difficult for me to accept when my metabolism wasn’t as on fire as when I was still a teen and younger and I had to put in the work to lose some weight. Of course the work is still ongoing both mentally and physically to this day, but I can somewhat say that I’m a lil bit more accepting of my body and my journey.

I wanted to create this space for anyone who appreciates food as much as I do. I’m hoping to post light-hearted content, maybe some motivating quotes and of course, all the food my family and I enjoy!

Cuz to me it doesn’t matter what diet and exercise you’re on but if you are not happy inside, or your mindset is not in the right place, it will definitely make the journey harder. I truly believe that our minds are the most powerful.

This was during our trip to Bowen Island. We had lunch at Doc Morgan’s Pub & Restaurant. We had oysters for appies, then shared the Creamy Cashew Linguini with Prawns, Fish Tacos, Fish & Chips, and their OMG Crunchy Burger. #seafood #food #foodiegram #yummyfood #reelsfb
