Episode 9: The Unsolved Murder of Maxine Bitomski
On January 16, 1993 around 3:15pm, 73 year old Maxine Bitomski was found dead in her bathtub by her grandson. She had been murdered, but there has never been a cause of death released. A year after her death, a bag with the clothing she likely was wearing the night of her murder was found, but no further information was released. Her family grew frustrated as the years passed and police continued to give them nearly no information and there appeared to be no movement in the investigation. In 2022, a Maine State Police Lieutenant says there was a DNA hit and they had a suspect in mind who was a suspect back in the beginning of the investigation. As of today Maxine's case is still unsolved and there have been no further updates.
