Andy Korda has done almost all of it, from coaching learn-to-swim and summer team all the way up to Jr/Sr Nationals, Olympic Trials, and was hugely responsible for guiding the development of Midland's Natalie Hinds into a 20x NCAA All American and 2020 Olympic medalist for Team USA. Andy was coached by Dana and Bob from the age of 10 through high school in Katy, TX, and reunites with them here for an enjoyable and educational review of how to coach better and how he got to where he is now, one of the best club coaches in America.

The International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is undergoing a multi-, multi-million dollar facelift with renovations, repairs, and new features, aiming for a fall 2021 re-opening. It is long due and will be a welcome upgrade to the iconic facility which originally opened in 1965.

I swam many meets there for club and HS swimming and water polo in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and trained there during winter breaks when I was in college. My mom and I swam Masters Nationals there in 1975 and I always stop by when I am in town.

Bob Button and I recently interviewed the ISHOF CEO and Board President, Brent Rutemiller on our top-rated swimming podcast, "Swim Talk A2B" (anchor.fm/swimtalk) and he told us of a brilliant new program for folks to support and contribute (as low as $10/month!) to help keep the ISHOF moving forward towards their goals. EVERY current and past swimmer and their families should consider jumping on board. This is the ONLY place in the WORLD where swimming is showcased and celebrated on a truly worldwide basis.

The program is called the "One In A Thousand" Club.

Groucho Marx may not have wanted to be a member in any club that would have him as a member, but WE DO. Bob and I have both joined and are happy we can contribute and support ISHOF.

Here's how YOU can join a very worthy "Club."

Become a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame’s “One In A Thousand” Club. Help keep us moving forward toward a new vision and museum!
