There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.

She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her.

She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her.
Now she could see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her,' Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'

The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left her in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how the human brain often works when our

status changes.

Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a Gift

Today before you say an unkind word -Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to ALMIGHTY GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life -Think of someone who died too young.

Before you complain about your children -Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep -Think of the people who are
living in the streets.

Before moaning about the distance you drive -Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?"

SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?"

SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "If you must know, I make $100 an hour."

SON: "Oh! (With his head down).

SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow $50?"
The father was furious.

DAD: "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

DAD: "Are you asleep, son?"

SON: "No daddy, I'm awake".

DAD: "I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $50 you asked for."

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.

SON: "Oh, thank you daddy!"

Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.

DAD: "Why do you want more money if you already have some?"

SON: "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do.

"Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I want to play with you."

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life.
We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.

Eboue: How I Lost All My Millions To My Ex-Wife
Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Eboue has revealed how he lost millions of pounds of his earnings and gone from a rich football star to a poor man on the brink of su***de.

He is seeking divine intervention to prevent him from taking his own life.

“I want God to help me,” Eboue told the Mirror. “Only he can help take these thoughts from my mind.”

Ivorian defender Eboue 34, narrated to the Mirror his heartbreaking story of financial, mostly pointing the finger at his estranged wife Aurelie and his own naivety.Eboue told the British tabloid that he lost all his money to Aurelie, who he claimed also handled his finances, in their divorce settlement and has been ordered to also give up his house in London to the ex-wife.
It is now three weeks since a deadline passed for Eboue to surrender ownership of the North London home he used to share with Aurelie and the fallen star could be forcibly ejected.
Eboue and his wife lived there before Eboue bought a mansion – which Aurelie has now put on the market.

So Eboue now awaits the knock that will see him ordered to leave at any time.
I can’t afford the money to continue to have any lawyer or barrister,” Eboue told the Mirror.

“I am in the house but I am scared. Because I don’t know what time the police will come.

“Sometimes I shut off the lights because I don’t want people to know that I am inside. I put everything behind the door.

“My own house. I suffered to buy my house but I am now scared.

Eboue made millions of pounds at Arsenal and then more than £1.5million a year at Turkish side Galatasaray but admits he was never given guidance to manage his finances.

“I look back and say ‘Emmanuel, you have been naive… why didn’t you think about that before?’ It is hard,” he added.

“Very, very hard. The money I earned, I sent it to my wife for our children.

“In Turkey I earned eight million euros. I sent seven million back home. Whatever she tells me to sign, I sign.

“She is my wife. The problems with FIFA (when he was banned for a pay dispute with an agent) were because of people advising me. People who are supposed to care. But it was because of them FIFA banned me.”

Eboue surrendered his expensive cars among assets to his wife, and now relies on London public transport.

The Mirror repprts that Eboue splits his time between the Enfield house and the home of a confidante he calls his “sister” – Yasmin Razak.

He often sleeps on a mattress on her living room floor.

But even watching TV – and seeing the likes of former team-mate Thierry Henry as a football pundit – triggers negative thoughts.

He adds: “When I see Thierry I feel happy for him but ashamed of my own situation.

“When I see friends on TV that I played with or against I say to myself ‘I should still be there’. It’s hard to watch them.”

ggest Heavyweight Fight Possible.

Rewrite - Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is 'biggest heavyweight fight in the world', says Top Rank president Todd DuBoef Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua is the "biggest heavyweight match in the world", according to Top Rank president Todd DuBoef, who believes the fight could finally happen this year. Joshua returns against Jermaine Franklin on Saturday night at The O2 in London, with the British star admitting he can no longer claim to be the world's best heavyweight. But victory over the American could propel Joshua back towards a big-name fight and DuBoef, who has a leading role in Fury's US promotional team, would welcome a blockbuster British battle in 2023. "I've always said that that is the fight," DuBoef told Sky Sports. "Both of them have great brands, huge fanbases, and fortunately both of them come from the UK, so it's wonderful that your country has been able to produce these incredible prizefighters. Anthony Joshua on Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk: 'It's just a shambles' AJ: I will retire if I lose to Jermaine Franklin Devin Haney's undisputed fight against Vasiliy Lomachenko live on Sky Sports "That fight is always there, and, to me, is the biggest heavyweight match in the world, because of the personalities and the stories." Fury's future plans remains unclear after talks for an undisputed world title fight against Oleksandr Usyk collapsed this month. "The frustration is for all of us," said DuBoef. "All of us are frustrated, right? "And I think timing has been an issue with trying to make this fight happen. I'm not going to say never, but I think we all want to see this unification, and we all have hope. Image: DuBoef admits everyone is frustrated the bout between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is no longer happening "But there was a timeline that was set up, and it just got ahead of everybody and it became very tight. Fortunately, there's always hope and an opportunity because I think both fighters really know that this is what the sport wants, and what they want. "So, motivation is there, timing was more of the issue on this." But DuBoef insists Fury could still face Usyk and Joshua within the next nine months. "That's the way we move," he said. "We move with immediacy, and we move trying to figure out and get rationality to a situation. "I think we've always wanted this fight for Fury and Joshua, and we've wanted to see Fury and Usyk, and Tyson has wanted that, and the Warrens, and we've worked hard in getting this done. "I would love to see, and you've just laid out a great 2023 for the Fury side, if we could do Usyk and Joshua this year, it would be fantastic."

According to Top Rank president Todd DuBoef, the versus matchup is the biggest heavyweight fight in the world. DuBoef believes that the fight could potentially happen this year and welcomes a blockbuster British battle in 2023. Despite talks for an undisputed world title fight against collapsing this month, DuBoef remains hopeful that Fury could still face both Usyk and Joshua within the next nine months. While the timeline for the Fury versus Usyk fight became tight, DuBoef asserts that everyone involved in the sport wants to see Fury and Joshua face off, and Fury and also want that to happen.

Joshua Calls Out Fury After Win Over Franklin

By Jim Calfa: Joshua says he wants next following his 12 round unanimous decision win over Franklin on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London.

Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs) says the ball is in WBC heavyweight champion Fury’s court if he wants to fight him next. Either way, Joshua says he’ll be returning to camp to fight this Summer, be it against Fury, Dillian Whyte, or .

Tonight, Joshua dominated Franklin (21-2, 14 KOs), handing him his second consecutive defeat, winning by the scores 118-111, 117-111, and 117-111.

Anthony Joshua: “You know me, I try to provide for the fans. I know who the fans want. Who do the fans want?” said AJ to Matchroom .

Ade Oladipo: “You heard them? They said, ‘Fury.'”

Joshua: “They said, ‘ ?’

Oladipo: “Yeah.”

Joshua: “The balls in his court. I would 100% be honored to compete for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world. I stand here and say proudly that it would be an honor.

“So wherever you are if you’re listening, you know my manager and my promoter. We’ve had dialect before, so let’s continue so we can get this on sooner rather than later. We’re not getting any younger.

“I can’t wait to get back to Texas to develop and push on because there’s a bigger fight because one fight leads on to another. I can’t wait to get to the next big fight,” said Joshua.

Oladipo: “Eddie, you knew I was going to ask about Tyson Fury, and you heard the response. This was the first fight after back-to-back defeats, and you heard the response.

“Do you go with Tyson Fury next? Do you got with a Dillian Whyte next? What do you do next?”

Eddie Hearn: “I think AJ is going to want the biggest fights. Tonight was a step down from Oleksandr Usyk., but there’s been a huge amount of pressure on him. He’s been training, and he took himself away for a fight with Derrick James. I felt he ended the fight well.

“He’s learning a lot and working on a lot, but like you said, they’re not getting any younger. We would be willing to entertain those conversations now to go straight into a Tyson Fury fight in the summer.

“You’ve got Dillian Whyte down there, Deontay Wilder, you’ve got a lot of good fights. I think he’s going to improve under Derrick James. There’s a lot of pressure and improvements to make, and he’s going to want the big fights as well.”

Oladipo: “Anthony, when are we going to see you next? You promised me that we were going to see you in the summer. You’re straight on the plane going back to Texas. Does that mean we’re going to see you back in camp in the summer?”

Joshua: “Yes, you will see me back in the summer for sure. Thank you, Eddie, for the opportunity. You’ll definitely see me in the summer.”

NAIRA SCARCITY PART OF RIGGING PLOT AGAINST TINUBU — GBAJABIAMILA
Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila has described the ongoing fuel and cash scarcities as a “rigging” plot. Fuel, naira scarcities rigging plot against Tinubu

Gbajabiamila said the plotters aimed at stopping All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from winning Saturday’s presidential election.

He spoke Thursday during his 2003 Constituency Outreach Program at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

It was the 20th edition of the programme.
It featured thousands of the Speaker’s constituents including movie director and lawmaker Desmond Elliott, politicians and monarchs.

Lamenting the dire effects of the naira scarcity on Nigerians, Gbajabiamila argued that it was a contrived crisis, adding that the plan was to rig out Tinubu from the race three weeks to the polls
He said: “No money, no cash to eat, to go out in the last three, four weeks; that is nothing but rigging before of election.

“It is done for a purpose and a purpose only: to make sure that the man all of Nigeria wants does not win this election.

“But, you know, I am happy. I take solace in one thing: that God is a wonderful God, that in all their machinations, I see at every turn, God’s hands in this project.

“The man who they attempted to rig the election against, even three weeks before the elections, but he’s still standing and standing strong, that people are singing in the North, East and West.
“Songs are coming out and saying whether you lock up the money, whether you close the doors to the filling station, people are singing that they will go out and they will vote for Asiwaju.

“That is the man that God’s hands are on his project.”

He reasoned that Tinubu’s performance against APC heavyweights at the party’s presidential primaries was evidence of divine intervention.
Gbajabiamila said: “A man who competed against over 20 other aspirants.

A man who was not in office, a civilian outside office who contested against 20 other aspirants, including the sitting Vice President, Senate President, Ministers, government officials and he still came out on top; that is God’s hands in that project.

“A man who after the primaries, all of a sudden, the only opposition party, the PDP (Peoples Democratic Party), broke into two and you have something called the G5; that is God’s hands in that project.”

He expressed hopes that the elections would be violence free.

Toyin Abraham declares love for Tinubu, says she might vote for him

She said that she is not trying to influence anyone's decision on who to vote for.

Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has declared her love for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

She shared this on TVC's "Your View," detailing that she loves Tinubu because he has done so much for the entertainment industry.

The Nollywood actress stated that although she hasn't decided who she will vote for, she might vote for .

"I love Asiwaju and I’m speaking about myself. I love him, I might vote for him because I love him. I’ve not decided but I’m just saying it. And because of the things he has done for my industry," she said.

She went on to say that she is merely expressing her viewpoint and is not attempting to sway anyone's decision on who to vote for.

She added, "I’m not going to use my own selfish interest to lead others. He has been a wonderful man to my industry, he has been there for people and my industry. I am speaking from my own perspective. He is a good man. He has been there for people even when they had nothing. I am speaking for my own Oluwatoyin Abosede Dada Abraham-Ajeyemi. Let people choose whoever they want to choose. I will not let people use the gender part of me. I will support anyone who supports everybody. Someone competent. I’m not going to jeopardise the future of our children because of gender part or because I have a colleague there.”

She also spoke on her recently released film ‘Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper,’ she said the storyline originated from her dream.

Violent protests in Edo, Delta, Oyo over Naira scarcity

Violent protests have erupted in some states of the federation over the scarcity of old and new Naira notes.

Footages obtained from netizens on Wednesday morning captured aggrieved protesters wielding clubs, matchetes and other dangerous weapons in Edo, Delta and Oyo states respectively

The aggrieved protesters were seen invading banks and destroying other public properties in the aforesaid states.

Palpable tension has continued to rise in various parts of the country over the shortage of cash and fuel, which is affecting daily life and business operations.

The decision of the Federal Government to phase out the N200, N500 and N1000 old Naira notes as valid legal tenders, has created a wide rift among various states of the federation.

Though only three northern states- Kogi, Kaduna and Zamfara- initially instituted an action to challenge the new monetary policy that was introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, however, when the matter came up before the Supreme Court on Wednesday, seven other states applied and were joined as co-plaintiffs in the suit.

The states the apex court allowed to come into the case to challenge FG’s decision, were; Lagos, Cross River, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Sokoto states.

Similarly, President Muhammadu Buhari’s home state, Katsina, also persuaded the court to allow it to file legal processes to nullify the new monetary policy.

On the other hand, Edo and Bayelsa state threw their weight behind FG and the CBN.

Recall that the Supreme Court had on Wednesday adjourned the suit filed by Governors to challenge the naira redesign policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to Wednesday February 22.

Protests have erupted in several cities in Nigeria over the scarcity of new currencies and the rejection of old naira notes. On Monday, February 15th, protesters took to the streets in Ibadan, Edo, Warri, Ondo, and other cities to express their frustration with the current situation.

In Ibadan, the protest was peaceful as protesters carried placards and chanted slogans demanding an end to the scarcity of new currencies and the rejection of old naira notes by banks and other financial institutions. Similarly, in Warri, protesters blocked major roads and disrupted vehicular movement.

Meanwhile, in Ondo, protesters burned tires and blocked major roads as they demanded immediate action from the government to address the scarcity of new currencies and the rejection of old naira notes. In Kwara, protesters marched to the state government house to present their demands to the governor.

The protests were triggered by the widespread scarcity of new currencies, which has led to the rejection of old naira notes by banks and other financial institutions. The situation has made it difficult for Nigerians to carry out transactions, especially in the informal sector.

The scarcity of new currencies has been attributed to a shortage of printing materials, as well as the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) decision to restrict the movement of new currencies to combat money laundering and other financial crimes.

In response to the protests, the CBN has urged Nigerians to exercise patience as it works to resolve the situation. The bank also warned against the hoarding and trading of new currencies, saying that it is illegal and could lead to prosecution.

The protests have highlighted the growing frustration among Nigerians over the state of the country's currency and the economic challenges facing the country. As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen what actions the government and the CBN will take to address the concerns of Nigerians.
