Winter sunsets through a tree, bereft of a single leaf, can offer a beautiful lesson in joy, humility and more. When a friend’s photograph made me relook at a 20 year old view from my backyard, I knew there was something pretty mind blowing, in what had become quite mundane.

As we close off this year, there is a lot in each of our minds that make it stressful. Join me on my podcast, as you wind down the week, for 6 minutes of simple joys in an otherwise complex world.

This time on Mindblowingly Mundane - the story of The Barren Tree.

Winter sunsets through a tree bereft of a single leaf can offer a beautiful lesson of joy, humility and then some. Tune in to learn more of yet another ordinary moment that held within it much to be inspired by. Episode Pic Credits: Abhishek Purakayastha

This time on Mindblowingly Mundane , we unplug and pause. But before we that, do tune in for a very unscripted episode about a reality I can’t ignore, or hide, behind a facade, or a smile.

Truths unplugged are just as mundane, as they are mindblowing. I invite you to join me if you would like to hear a very different kinda perspective on my podcast.

Sincerely

Pritha.

It is also April. A new month of new beginnings, and a new story on my podcast. The theme of this month is “fitting in” in the larger scheme of things.

I never plan for coincidences, but a quote by President Russell M. Nelson from one of his talks yesterday, made me feel that, somewhere in this infinitely large Universe, this little space I share with all of you, fits in.

“Difficult trials often provide opportunities that grow what would not have a come in any other way”

What have your experiences been with truths that are different from yours? Did they conflict, collide or coalesce?

Tune in to this episode of Mindblowingly Mundane to find out the meaning behind the word “Isha” that spans some pretty expansive views culturally, and how this one word helped me personally, to reconcile truths in a world, that seems so ready to thrive on strife and conflict.

It’s a work in progress but the process of discovery has been far from mundane.

What have your experiences been with truths that are different from yours? Did they conflict, collide or coalesce? Did they reinforce your own truths better for you and solidify your journey? Or did they make you question your views and make you take a long hard look and do some resets in your mind....

An undone sweater by my friend Aparna Bose on the other side of the globe was anything but mundane. Actually the more I thought about it ... well, ..you’ll just have to tune in to find out what happened.

This time on Mindblowingly Mundane, two half knit pieces of fabric, two pairs of knitting needles, and two balls of yarn, all continents apart, spin an interesting tale.

Do listen in when you have a few minutes to spare, and are looking to pause in the midst of the ordinary, to find that bit of "extra'. While you may or may not want to take up knitting, I most unquestionably guarantee you a smile. !

Have you ever wondered what motivates an individual to start on the most unexpected journeys and see them through completion?

Is it because of their situations and circumstances, or their own drive to take on new challenges?

Do such people only exist on the glossy covers of magazines or are they regular human beings like you and I ?

Tune in to this very special episode of Mindblowingly Mundane to learn about an artist, a dancer, a mom, a commercial ( Semi ) truck driver and a hiker ... oh wait, did I mention, they are all one person ? Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of Knowledge and Learning in every form. It is customary to offer all forms of learning instruments at the altar for her to bless. From books to electronics to dance shoes to piano files to podcast headsets...
hopefully She blesses it all.

Most importantly hope She blesses us with Knowledge of the truest kind.

Heaven knows we could all laugh a bit and not take life too seriously?

Several years ago, a store associate taught me how, and till date, when things get a little too serious I find myself going back to “girly pockets” and giggling to myself. Maybe you will too 😉😃

Mindblowingly Mundane is now available on , , along with . , , , , , and most other channels where you find your favorite shows and podcasts.

Have we forgotten how to laugh? I mean really? Have we gotten so embroiled between the strange cadence of political correctness, and taking offense at every little thing? Why do we take ourselves so seriously? What happens when we don't ? A wonderful woman showed me how, and that memory makes me chu...
