In May 2022, we produced ā€˜If My Memory Serves Meā€™; a short documentary in collaboration with Sefton Older Peopleā€™s Forum to celebrate Queen Elizabeth IIā€™s Platinum Jubilee. The premiere of the film took place on 2nd June 2022 at the Bijou Cinema in Southport - the day of the Jubilee.

Members of the Sefton Older Peopleā€™s Forum shared some of their memories since Her Majesty ascended the throne in 1952.

ā€˜If My Memory Serves Meā€™ was directed by Sam Hepworth and produced by Dr Richard Talbot.

Her Majesty passed away on 8th September 2022 . In commemoration of her life, we have put together a shorter edit of the film which will be screened at the Plaza cinema in Waterloo on 10th November 2022 for ONE TIME ONLY.

The screening of this film will coincide with the launch of the print version of ā€˜If My Memory Serves Meā€™. The book contains a more in-depth look into the participantsā€™ lives, telling unheard stories of living through the entirety of the Elizabethan era.

The first trailer of ā€˜If My Memory Serves Meā€™ will be released on 6th October 2022, to be shortly followed by a collection of teaser trailers, giving you a taste of what the film and book is all about.
