Hello family

my dear friend & I are coming up on our two year anniversary of being certified wellness facilitators through

We are bringing back Art, nature and Mushrooms🍄

Join our growing community for two 3hr workshops and a epic camp out! we have a beautiful location in Goodrich Michigan.

The land has hiking and swimming pool. You will be guided on a foraging hike with Calem where you will identify wild edible mushrooms for tinctures and yummy meals!

You will be connecting with nature with me through therapeutic art practices,journaling and ecstatic dance! water and light snacks will be provided! please bring a lunch if you need it.

This year we are adding a camp out to end the summer right! Grab your tent and camping gear and get ready for a weekend of foraging,art making, guest speakers. We will provide yummy meals (vegetarian & meat options) for the whole weekend!

All mushroom, art and nature enthusiasts are welcome!

Please join us on this special occasion! Come out & show your support for Calem and I! Can’t wait to go hiking and hold space with you beautiful souls! This is a one of a kind experience and A event Calem & I will be growing over the years! Come be apart of our loving offering!

“As Above, so below .”
An art peace ✌️

“I connect with you
Mother of mine
You tell me to grow
You tell me don’t be afraid to glow
I connect to you mother
Your gentle voice whispers
“Let go.”
A reminder to be like the river and flow
A reminder to be like the seasons, mourn what has died and celebrate what is budding
A forever evolving being
Trusting my heart to lead the way
I take a big breath
I let out a mighty sigh
With a bit of quiver in my voice
I say
“as above, so below.”

This piece is called
“My fearful girl. “

I don’t have a clever description for this piece. so I decided to write a poem to describe its meaning:

“Fearful girl there is nothing else to fear.
The end to the confusion is near.
They say you don’t know who you are.
They say your not being the true you.
And I say be confused.
Develop autonomy.
Ask questions.
Gain clarity.
I’ll guide you through the shadows.
I have you when you don’t know where to go.
It doesn’t matter what they say.
You and I are on the same team.
We can figure it out.
As long as I hold you close you will be safe.
I will keep you free & joyful.
I will give you a second chance at a peaceful childhood.
You and I have Infinite chances to get this right.
You get know how to live life with delight.
You get to be brave in the face of fear
take off!
Take flight.
We can be one now.
You can rest.
You can be a human who gets to just be now.
You can know what it feels like to be a whole being.
My mistake will always be not seeing you as a part of me.
You & I are one of the same.
We are me.
We are I”

I am getting back to life coaching late winter/early spring. I’ve took some time off to grieve & take care of my inner child. Most of my art work has been an honor to my little one!

Hello family.
I recently finished this piece I called “dancing with grief.” The intention of this piece was to make peace with the things I can not change. My goal was to express my need to see the beauty in unfortunate circumstances. It was important for me to express the beauty of the ebbs and flow of the grieving process. In this piece I tried to express my pain & to show the contrast of what unexpressed love feels like to me. I tried to portray the delicate dance of showing yourself grace when you don’t want to feel big emotions. & how beautiful it can feel to give yourself permission to feel all things and advocate for yourself that your feelings are valid and that you can witness them without becoming your emotions. Grief can be an ugly ride to the other side of happiness but that does not mean that you can’t experience moments of joy. & just because life is not going your way now does not mean a beautiful future isn’t waiting for you on the other side. After finishing this piece I realized I gained gratitude for the lessons that grief teaches me & gives me the courage to let go of people, places or things that are no longer serving me.

I used magazine clippings, ribbon, acrylic paint, construction paper on canvas. I tried to keep the colors a bit darker but I can’t help but To use vibrate colors that pop.
