The Northshore Literary Society’s STORY SWAPS are on a roll! We hope you’ll join us for the next one:

Friday, December 8, from 2:00-4:00 PM
At the Causeway branch of the library

In case you haven’t been to a STORY SWAP yet, you should know that there’s no charge, no commitment, no stress – just an informal group of friendly people taking turns telling and listening to one another’s “true” stories (generally about 3-4 minutes each)

Because of the season, you might want to tell a holiday story, but any other kind you’d like to tell would also be more than welcome.

Be speaking Tuesday, December 5th at 7 pm at the Jefferson Patish Library on West Napoleon in Metairie about writing after retirement. I hope you will support these authors. I’ve read all of these books. Each very different snd I’m sure one or more would be a great read for you or a friend. Hope to see you there.

I don't know who the credit should go to for inventing these, but this Christmas Tree Teepee is so much fun! What kid wouldn't love hiding out in there?! My youngest used to beg us to let him sleep under the Christmas tree every year.
