This crew has the crew of Moya recruit former enemies.

An episode of the first and only season of The Green Hornet is called The Frog Is a Deadly Weapon.
Coincidentally a frog would be a key plot element in It Takes You Away from the first but not the only season of Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor.

Black Mirror 7.2 Bête Noire stars Kieran Smith and Ben Bailey Smith.

Smith had done some Doctor Who fan films and sadly he died at the young age of 23 sometime before the release of Black Mirror season 7.

The Black Mirror episode therefore is dedicated to his memory.

With his stint in Bête Noire, Smith narrowly missed Peter Capaldi who would be in Plaything two episodes later.

Smith had earlier narrowly missed Capaldi in Doctor Who but in the other direction as Smith was in The Tsuranga Conumdrum from Jodie Whittaker's first season and five episodes after Capaldi's swansong Twice Upon a Time.

Narrower still is that Smith was included in the guest star line-up shown at the end of The Woman Who Fell To Earth, Jodie's full debut as the Doctor and therefore the episode that came after Capaldi's said swansong Twice Upon a Time.

An episode of Tate (1960) is called The Bounty Hunter from its only season.
Coincidentally K9's own only season too has an episode called The Bounty Hunter.
The Tate episode is the series' third episode and remarkably the K9 is the series' fourth, but not third, episode.
The Tate episode guest starred Robert Redford and I came across it whilst looking up Redford's work following his recent death on September 16 2025.

October 12 2025 marked ten years since the release of Doom Coalition 1 from Big Finish.

Featuring the Eighth Doctor.

Doom Coalition 1 consists of four episodes, the penultimate of which is The Galileo Trap.

Also featuring Liv and Helen.
Written by Marc Platt.
The Doctor, Liv and Helen in her first episode travelling as a companion meets Galileo in 1639 in the midst of their search for the Eleven.
Certainly it got my attention when one of the aliens said to the travellers the word snapshot indicating that he is not of this time and of this world.
Overall I did not enjoy this as it fell kind of flat with me.

In fact my wife Karen has said that she watched Annie Hall as part of her research in playing Jane in Not Another Happy Ending.

Fresh Hell is a web series co-created by TNG actor Brent Spiner (Data) in which he plays himself.
This premiere episode has Spiner having fallen from grace due to a so-called incident which isn't revealed here.
Quite intriguing what this incident is and the premiere episode ends when a visitor came by Spinner's place which would explore at in the next episode.

Rewatched the Farscape second season episode The Locket, having not seen it in a long time and I found this episode to be similar to later Doctor Who episode The Girl Who Waited from Matt Smith's own second season as the Doctor.
Both episodes explore themes of time dilation, aging and emotional separation with characters facing the consequences of being trapped in altered timelines.
In the Farscape episode it is Aeryn and Crichton who got aged in a different timeline while Amy Pond, The Girl Who Waited would experience the same later on.

October 12 2025 marked ten years since the release of Doom Coalition 1 from Big Finish.

Also featuring Liv and introducing Hattie Morahan as new companion Helen Sinclair.
Written by John Dorney.
The said Red Lady was played by Caroline Langrishe and she was in the previous episode The Eleven playing Lady Farina.
The Doctor and Liv are on the search for the Eleven but he is a no-show.
Instead they encounter the said Red Lady.
The Red Lady gets unleashed here all because an executor had ignored the wishes of his deceased client.
The deceased had collected works of art but what is remarkable about this was that he was blind.
The Red Lady was very spooky in this very haunting episode and served as a very good introductory episode for Helen.
The circumstances of this episode led to Helen to join the Doctor and Liv on their travels.
