"God gives his toughest battles to his toughest soldiers."

Remembering and paying tribute to Major Wasif Hussain Shaheed on his 8th Shahadat anniversary today. On this day in 2014, Major Wasif | Tamgh e Basalt | reported for duty in 32 Baloch Regiment in Datta Khel on October 12, 2014, and he was given the task to clear and establish posts at Zarramsar and Spairaghar. The first three days were difficult as there was no water to drink; no shelter and he spent the nights casually in open air. These areas were used by the miscreants to fire rockets at Datta Khel for the last many years. It was his exemplary courage, physical endurance and sacrifice for motherland that Major Wasif captured Zarramsar without any causality. He established the posts, Obaid 1, Obaid 2 and Obaid 3 and chose Obaid 2 as his headquarter.

On November 15, 2014 at about 1730 hours, terrorists around 400 in number fired rockets and mortars at Obaid 3 post. Disregarding his own safety, at 1750 hours, Major Wasif arrived at this posts along with soldiers under intensive fire and surprising he was the first to reach Obaid 3 post. Major Wasif now in the forward tranches fired at the terrorists with his Light Machine Gun.

At about 1900 hours, the bunker of Major Wasif was surrounded by terrorists from three directions. His reflexes took over and he moved out of the bunker to fire directly at the terrorists. The terrorists who had suffered heavy losses fired a Rocket Propelled Gr***de from close range and a splinter of RPG pierced side of his face near his upper lip and after penetrating in the flesh came out from his neck. As Sepoy Ayaz who was battling alongside Major Wasif embraced Shahadat, Major Wasif also fell on the ground. He recited Kalma-e-Shahadat and closed his eyes. He fought like a lion from the forward most tranches and embraced Shahadat. The presence of Major Wasif at forward most tranches was a source of motivation and high morale for his regiment.

Rest easy, sir. We will keep telling your stories.. stories of walking on fire and seeing in the dark. Salute

"I will not let the aircraft to enemy's hands."

Remembering the Air Warrior, Rashid Minhas Shaheed, the youngest recipient of | Nishan e Haider, on his 51st martyrdom anniversary today.

Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed was born on 17 February, 1951. Having a dream of defending the aerial frontiers of the motherland, he got commission on 14 March, 1971 in the 51st GD (P) course. He was later posted to No 2 Squadron stationed at Maripur (Masroor) for an Operational Conversion Course, where he was destined for sublime heights by Almighty Allah.

On 20 August, 1971 an unforgettable saga of bravery was crafted with his ultimate sacrifice. On this fateful day, Rashid vanquished the iniquitous intentions of his instructor pilot Flight Lieutenant Mati-ur-Rahman, who tried to hijack his training jet T-33 towards India. Rashid battled to take back the controls of the aircraft and finally prefered to crash the plane before it could cross the border. The brave son of soil accepted to sacrifice his life but didn't allow the country's dignity to be tarnished. In recognition of Rashid Minhas's supreme sacrifice and indelible courage, the Government of Pakistan awarded him with the highest gallantry award Nishan-e Haider. He will always be remembered as an icon of bravery & sacrifice and will remain a beacon for our future generations.

Rest easy among the stars, sir. You have been inspiration for many. Your sacrifice will keep the idea of Pakistan alive forever.. We as a nation remain in gratitude. Salute

"The brave die never, though they sleep in dust; Theircourage nerve a thousands living men."

Remembering and paying Tribute to General Zia ul Haq Shaheed on his 34th Shahadat anniversary today. On this fateful day in 1998, Ex General and President of Pakistan Mr. Zia ul Haq embraced Shahadat in a airspace accident along with seniors officials near Bahawalpur City in the area of District Lodhran. His C130 plane crashed at Basti Lal Kamal never River Sutluj.

The crash of the C130 of Pakistani president General Zia in 1988 was one of the greatest tragedy to befall on the Muslim world in the 20th century. This man was so dangerous for Israel & India that CIA, Mossad, RAW & KGB jointly plotted to assassinate him & his team.
11 General officers were assassinated that day. Including the president and chief of army staff, DG ISI and their entire staff. The Americans blocked all attempts to investigate the crash.
There was a complete cover up both in Pakistan and abroad. Typical blackops coverup.

Singlehandedly, General Zia had led the charge to stop the Soviet Union in Afghanistan and ultimately dismembered it.
Simultaneously he brought India to its knees by supporting the freedom struggles of khalistan and Kashmir. And right under the American nose built the A bomb!

General Zia-Ul-Haq fully exploited the American panic and fear over the Soviet invasion in Afghanistan to build Pakistani defences.
He rejected the initial American aid as "peanuts" & forced the Americans to fund Pakistan's entire nuclear program & Got 40 F16s too. General Zia-ul-Haq negotiated strategic agreement with China, which gave Pakistan total access into the sinkiang Muslim majority province.

Allowing the Uighur Muslims to go to hajj through Pakistan for the first time.
This was an incredible relief for the Uighurs. General Zia-Ul-Haq played a strategic role in ending the Iran Iraq war.
He was also central in bringing unity within the ranks of the Arabs when Egypt had been boycotted by the Arab League and OIC for its camp David accord.

He represented the entire Muslim world in the UN. From China to North Africa he was the most respected Muslim leader in the entire world at that time. Turks loved him to such an extent that five official Turkish delegations came on his funeral, representing various arms & the government. 2.5 million people attended his funeral. This Pakistani general had become too dangerous for the global Zionists.

He was assassinated and replaced by the Mafia cabal of zardari and Benazir. Immediately all support to khalistan and Kashmir freedom movement was blocked. Afghan jihad was abandoned. Uighurs blocked. The political narrative in Pakistan is dominated by the secular and liberal political parties. Who project general Zia-Ul-Haq as a demon of a sort. But for an objective observer what general Zia achieved in his decade of rule is nothing short of a Geopolitical miracle, during his time Pakistan was the force to be reckoned with. Chief of German intelligence sent a piece of a Berlin wall to ISI with their inscription "to the one who delivered the first blow".

General zia ul haq began the liberation of eastern Europe & Central Asian republics.
USSR had invaded Afghanistan in 1979.
CIA had written Afghanistan off as a lost case.
It was general Zia-Ul-Haq who decided to engage and stop the Soviet bear in the mountains of Afghanistan. Americans joined later by 1981. Enter resistance strategy & control was with ISI.
This is how brilliantly Zia negotiated with the Americans. Enter global support for Afghan jihad was only to be conducted through ISI.
No American to be seen on the west side of Indus...Let alone interact, engage or train the Afghans.

Americans were kept in their place. Entire Muslim world mourned his death. His funeral prayers were held in Kaaba and the Masjid of the Prophet in madina. His funeral prayers in absentia were held all across the Muslim world. All across Afghanistan mujahideen mourned his death. He is still their hero. American ambassador to India John Gunther Dean later on publicly acknowledged that Zia has been assassinated by Mossad CIA and RAW. Poor chap was thrown out of diplomatic service for spilling the beans.

Pakistan and the Muslim world has never recovered from that loss ever since.

Heroes never die. They become immortal.

"People are throwing stones at us, people are throwing petrol bombs at us. If my men ask me what do we do, should I say, just wait and die? I will come with a nice coffin with a national flag and I will send your bodies home with honour. Is it what I am supposed to tell them as general? I have to maintain the morale of my troops who are operating there."

Lt General Sarfaraz, had the reputation of being a tough soldier and an inspiring commander, who sometimes sparked controversy with his candid comments on political developments.

RIP sir. You will be missed by your soldiers, the defence forces and a million Pakistanis. Thank you for your service.

"FEAR IS NO POLICY, SURRENDER IS NO OPTION."

Remembering and paying tribute to the brave Lt Gen (R) Hameed Gul on his 7th Shaheed anniversary today. He served the ISI as its chief from 1987 to 1989. He played a significant role in the USSR war in Afghanistan. A number of historians called him "The Godfather of Taliban."
General Hameed Gul spearheading an Islamist insurgency in Indian-administered Kashmir is also well-documented. New Delhi holds him responsible for diverting militants and arms from the Afghan-war to Srinagar toward the end of his job as spy chief in 1989.

Rest easy among the stars, sir. You have been inspiration for many and generations to come! Your stories of heroism shall forever be told. Salute! Pakistan Zindabad 🇵🇰

While the nation celebrates Jashn e Azadi, our soldiers are paying the price of freedom.. Yesterday was a tragic day, we lost bravehearts. 29/05/2022

In 19965, Brigadier TM was opted for a specialized course with Delta Force in USA, but at that time Operation Gibraltar was announced, he refused to join the course but desired to join the operation.

Remembering man of steel, the most decorated Soldier of SSG Brigadier Tariq Mehmod Shaheed (SJ, SBt ,Hilal-e-Shuja'at,Sitara-e-Imtiaz Military) on his 32 martyrdom anniversary today.

His journey of valor started when he was commissioned in PMA after his graduation from Gordon's College Rawalpindi. He was considered as the best cricketer of the college. Pakistani Star Cricketer Fazal Mehmood (also known as The Hero of the Oval) predicted him to be the best future cricketer of Pakistan. But fate decided something else for him. PMA was waiting for him. There he proved his mettle in every walk of soldiery.

It was 1965 , he was preparing for a specialized course with Delta Force in USA. The Operation Gibraltar was announced, refusing to join the course, he joined the operation. He was lost in Kashmir during the operation and was announced as "Missing believed Killed", but one day he approached a nearby post of Kashmir sector and soon identified by the authorities.
He was soon recognized as the symbolic and mythical character of the SSG.
In an early age, he was appointed as in-charge of Para Training School.

Major Shabbir Shareef (Nishan e Haider )also got the PTW under his strict command. In the chaotic era of 1971, he was a potential threat to the Mukti Bahni and Indian Army, after the surrender, every Indian Army official was in search of this legend, but he was already in West Pakistan and no one was able to capture him.

When a plane of Air India was hijacked and brought to Pakistan, it was him and his two comrades who managed to arrest the hijackers and free the hostages without firing even a single bullet.

On an unfortunate morning of May 29, 1989, he jumped for a free fall. He opened his main parachute but the para chords were tangled.
He opened his reserve parachute but it also failed to open. When a paratrooper lands, he adopts a certain posture i.e. bit leaned left, facing the ground.

As his chutes failed to open, his martyrdom was certain, but that stone nerved person was still adopting the same posture. His velocity increased his weight up to tons, he fell and embraced martyrdom at the spot.

It was his performance which led him to the higher brass. He used to wear a black overall like all the paratroopers do, but he decorated his outfit by writing یااللہ (Oh Allah) on it.

The name of this legend is Brigadier Tariq Mehmood also known as TM Tiger. He was such a legendary and mythical character that still GOCs of SSG follow the example that he set.
Brigadier TM Shaheed was the best one ever produced by SSG, after this death, SSG still continues the paratrooper landing on all glorious events. He played a fatherlike role in Sepcial Services Group and ISI and has left a deep legacy, even after his death. He is arguably regarded as one of the best commando and spy of the 20th century. Character of Salman Khan as a RAW spy agent 'Tiger' in Bollywood movie " Ek Tha Tiger" was inspired from Tiger TM Shaheed.

Rest easy among the starts, sir. You have been inspiration for many and had left a deep legacy for us. You idea for Pakistan shall remain forever, we will keep telling your stories for the next generations to come. Pakistan Zindabad 🇵🇰

THE DAY OF REVIVAL AND PRIDE, 28TH MAY 1998,

Today in 1998, Pakistan conducted five nuclear tests in Chaghi as a direct response to the series of nuclear test by India and become a first Nuclear Islamic Country. This is a day of greatness and proud when Pakistan already a responsible country was transformed into a strategically mature religion power. It sensibly understood the management and liability of having nuclear weapon. This day conveys a strong message of immense power for defense. Salute to all who made it possible.

Remembering CAPTAIN ABID NAVEED, 35 AK, Sitara e Basalt, (SBt) who put himself in the face of terrorists fire and fight with nerves of steel to protect his brother soldiers from being hit, this day in 2011.

Captain Abid was part of of a clearance operation (Al Mizan Wali Dad Top) at Swat District in Mohmand Agency. In the afternoon, the patrol came under sudden fire from a nearby mountains. Exhibited exemplary presence of mind, Captain Abid warned his team and encountered the terrorists fearlessly, talking direct firefight.

During the firefight, the braveheart sustained mortal wounds on his chest. Unmindful and undeterred from the grave injury and although bleeding profusely he crawled to an appropriate position from where he brought accurate fire on the terrorists and injured him gravely. The terrorists was neutralized and identified as TTP District Commander. Captain Abid made supreme sacrifice of his life in true traditions of the Pakistan Army.

Captain Abid lives on in our heart for his selfless act and bravery and patriotism. RIP sir

Remembering and paying Tribute to CAPTAIN BILAL ZAFAR SHAHEED | SITARA E BASALAT on his martyrdom anniversary today.

Capt Bilal Zafar Abbasi shaheed S/O, Captain ( R ) Zafar Tajammul Abbasi. A Valiant Son of 42 Baloch Regiment Al Havi was born on 2nd feb1982 in Rawalpindi. He got his early education from St Paul’s Cambridge School and Govt Post Graduate College Satellite Town Rawalpindi.

Highly motivated from his forefathers and inspired by Patriotism, he joined Pakistan Army in 2001. Performance of Capt Bilal remained exemplary during his trg and passed out as Battalion Junior Under Officer (BJUO). Capt Bilal joined 42 Baloch Regiment on 12 Oct 2003. Capt Bilal participated in Op Al – Mizan, United Nation Operation In Cote De Ivoire, and Op Rah-e-Rast and has been awarded with Imtiazi Sanad for his valor and various operations.

SSG commando, who embraced SHAHADAT on 17th May 2009 in Peochar Valley, Swat.

Captain Bilal Shaheed told his best friend and his room mate, Captain Raheel that Bilal would be a Shaheed and Raheel is a Ghazi. He said so on night of 15 May 2009 while he was preparing for his most exigent task in high mountains of Peochar valley. Captain Raheel’s eyes often get filled with tears but still he maintains a soldierly composure and pride while narrating the proceedings of the last night. Captain Bilal Shaheed, who was just back from a successful operation in Buner On 5 MAY 2009, got the message from his commanding officer that he had been earmarked for a difficult task in Peochar valley (Operation Jahanbaz).

It was important for Special Services Group (SSG) to open Swat – Peochar road which was essential for their further operational sustenance. It was crucial to capture Ghuzano Sar Top (now Bilal Top) for the success of entire operation. Previous efforts to capture this Top could not succeed. Captain Bilal Shaheed very happily received this warning order and got busy in preparations alongwith his company commander and fellow officer; both were also picked for this operation. While preparing very minutely for the mission, he also kept taking with Captain Raheel. He told Raheel to personally go to his home and inform his mother in case he meets Shahadat.

He also told him to lead his Janaza prayer. Captain Bilal, while tying up his backpack, also told Raheel that his dead body should be shrouded in Pakistani flag. He should be buried with full military honour and ceremony. Later he also packed his all belongings in the room. Surely Bilal knew about the golden tomorrow which would place him on high pedestal reserved for those who sacrifice their lives for the safety and security of their motherland. In the spell of those unique moments and out of his sheer love for Pakistan Army, Bilal sent a message to Captain Raheel from his cellular phone. He told him to read it once he had gone for the mission.

The message circulated among all cellular phone holders in Pakistan like a fire reads,

“ In da Roars Of Bullets __ in da thunder of bombs __ There are a few who just don't stop __ knowing dat dey r surrounded by death __ knowing dat dey could leave their wives widow nd children " DEATH B4 DISGRACE PAK ARMY!ZINDABAD!!! "
Time: 00:35 o'clock 16th of May 2009

On 17 May 2009, Capt Bilal was assigned the task to clear & capture Ghuzanosar Ridge in Peochar valley, an imp feature of paramount imp for further progress of operation. Despite stiff resistance and highly difficult terrain, Capt Bilal along with his combat team advanced and contacted the miscreants and cleared the bunkers. Capt Bilal after accomplishing his assigned task decided to move forward and clear next position. Miscreants after loosing their first position were offering stiff resistance and not allowing Capt Bilal to move forward. Capt Bilal promptly reacted to every situation and while leading from the front was hit by a rocket on his chest and embraced Shahadat, an ultimate desire of any soldier, at the spot.
He always used to say that bullets can never harm me, and that was true. He got a direct hit from a rocket propeller gr***de (RPG) and then embraced shahadat.

Capt Bilal was a kind hearted and pious man. He always enjoyed the love and affection of his senior commands and under commands. He was an obedient and disciplined officer. He was posthumously awarded Sitara e Bisalat.

Rest among the starts, sir. Your sacrifice will keep the idea of Pakistan alive.. forever! We will keep telling your stories.. stories of walking on fire and seeing in the dark. Keep rocking Valhalla. Remembered and missed here too. Pakistan Zindabad🇵🇰

"YAAR THIS IS REAL ARMY LIFE, LOVING IT. LIFE HAI TOH OPS AREA KI, AUR KOI LIFE NHI."

Remembering and paying homage to Captain Salman Sarwar Shaheed on his martyrdom anniversary today, son of SP Imtiaz Sarwar was from Lahore. Despite achieving high marks in Medical Entry Test, Capt. Salman Sarwar chose to join Pakistan Army and serve his nation. He passed out with 115 L/C and joined 42 Lancers Armoured Unit in Bahawalpur.

Known as one of the most competent and brave officers, he was appointed as an ADC to Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila as a result of his remarkable vigilance. During his two-year tenure with the General, he received two OUTSTANDING rankings and commendable ACR.

On 14th May 2013, while in the line of fire with his soldiers, he took three bullets to the chest. Although severely wounded, he helped pick up injured and shaheed soldiers, preferring medical help for them instead of himself. He survived for 90 minutes even after the bullet had pierced his heart point blank.

Through all this, he kept saying he’s perfectly fine. While going in the Operation Theater, the last thing he did was smile and a give a thumbs up. Capt. Salman embraced Shahadat at the age of 27.

Rest easy, sir. We will keep telling your stories for the next generations to come. Forever indebted.

Despite being wounded, he continued to fire, wounding a third terrorist before succumbing to his injuries. Terrorists burned the army vehical the remaining soldiers including the diver and Subedar Zafar Iqbal got burnt inside. This is the price of our freedom, our soldiers are paying for!

Rest easy, Asif bhai. Keep rocking Valhalla. You are missed as we tell your stories. Stories of walking on fire and seeing in the dark. Pakistan Zindabad 🇵🇰

"Ammi, ap dua krna Shaheed ho ke aun, yeh wardi mitti main rul kr bhi meli nhi hoti."

Remembering the fearless CAPTAIN NAJAM RIAZ SHAHEED on his martyrdom anniversary today. Who fought against war of terrorism and killed eight militants bare handedly and were being martyred. He died a warrior's death, oftentimes, he used to tell his comrades. "A good death is its own reward." So he kept his promise and remain immortal.

Rest easy, sir. Thank you for protecting and making the ultimate sacrifice. Salute
