One of the most common issues I encounter when onboarding new clients is getting usable design files. I can't tell you how many times I need to recreate logos in vector format so that we can build a functional suite of logos for their brand.

That must mean two things⬇️
⚡️Some designers are unaware that a vector logo file is a foundational requirement in logo design and imperative for their clients. Or they are too lazy to provide all the appropriate logo files for their clients.
⚡️Business owners are not aware of the importance of the different file types they should be provided by the designer they hire.

This PSA is for anyone looking for logo design or brand identity work. You MUST get a vector file from your designer. Although your designer should provide you with hundreds of different logo files and formats, the vector is the most important. It can be scaled infinitely, meaning you'll never run into pixelated graphics. And that file can be used to create any size or iteration of the logo you may need. Before you hire a designer, clarify the logo deliverables you will be receiving and insist on a vector file.

's mission is to uncomplicate feeding babies. As simple as it seems, when you're a mother in the trenches, you realize how complex and challenging it can be to feed your baby, and how lonely it can feel when issues arise during a 3am feeding.

Building on her experience as a registered dietician and mom, founder, Emily Sylvester set out to create a platform where moms could get affordable and compassionate support from expert dietitians at any time, day or night.

Emily contacted us to help her develop the name, visual identity, and voice for her platform . We focused on building an inviting and vibrant identity and a tone of voice that connects with moms, allowing them to feel seen and heard.

When you run a business you know ALL THE THINGS. You're an expert in your field and with that comes an overload of information. Sometimes it's difficult to know what to highlight. It's important to work with someone that can help you distill your messaging. Information is consumed in bite sized chunks and you need to be able to find the most succinct and impactful messaging that will catch the interest of your target consumer. Once you have their attention you can begin to deliver messaging that is more in-depth, but until someone builds a connection with your brand keep it short and sweet.
