27 | A year ago just before I turned 26 I quit my HVAC job to go full time as a freelancer. Over this past year I’ve learned a ton about working for yourself and how challenging yet rewarding it can actually be. On top of that, getting older has this strange sensation, on one hand you feel like you’ve done and learned so much each year but it also feels like you know far less than you thought in this vast world. It’s a good personal reminder to not let your experiences get to your head and never stop growing. Thanks to all my friends, family, and my champion wife Jess who have supported me along the way. Here’s to another year of learning, growth and success 🥂

Hawaii crushes it in the winter, sheeesh 🔥
Speaking of winter, there’s been a lot of changes that I didn’t really make a big deal of like quitting my HVAC job to work full-time for myself to helping prep for some of my family as they move to the mainland.
Even though it’s been wild, I’m grateful for this season and am stoked to share with you guys some of the work I’ve been up to. 🎥🔥

Realizing how important relationships are this year, it seems like the older you get the easier it is to become solo and stay in your lane in life. Although I’m excited to continue learning and growing, I’m more so looking forward to making new friends and deepening existing relationships on this little island I call home. 🏝

Emerald trees and pastel greens. I can’t get over how beautiful bleeding glaciers are in Alaska with these rivers. It’s totally surreal and 🚁 is the way to go.

4 years ago today I asked this girl from Hawaii to be my girlfriend. It’s crazy how much we went through, from over a year of long distance to me making the big decision to move to Hawaii. Even though it was hectic at times I wouldn’t take back any of it and marrying her would turn out to be the best decision of my life. ♥️

This month I reached over 5 Million views on Unsplash (my favorite site for royalty free curated pics). I’m stoked on this milestone because in the past I’ve always found myself needing free images for projects and Unsplash was always the best place to go. Honestly it’s not like your typical boring stock photo website and it’s even fun to just look at the curated images photographers all over the world are putting up. One of the coolest things about international travel is seeing all the different architecture. From the floating city of Venice, the eccentric parliament building in Budapest, or this seemingly dramatic castle in Ireland, architecture makes me wonder how it was done and marvel at the creative people behind it.
