Jim Rohn once said,
“We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.”
Discipline is no easy task for any of us but when you compare it to the pain of regret from not doing it, you’ll be pushed to not ignore its presence…
Don’t fall prey to the present joy of not doing a discipline, that’s the deception… if you can overcome that and learn to live in the discipline, you’ll avoid the pain of regret in the future!

“COURAGE, noun [Latin , the heart.] Bravery; intrepidity; that quality of mind which enables men to encounter danger and difficulties with firmness, or without fear or depression of spirits; valor; boldness; resolution. It is a constituent part of fortitude; but fortitude implies patience to bear continued suffering.“
- Webster’s Dictionary 1828

In the journey of faith, the heart and the mind often seem at odds, but what does the Bible say about these crucial parts of our being?
The Heart: In Scripture, the heart is more than just an organ. It’s the seat of our emotions, desires, and our true character. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23) The heart reflects our deepest passions and the truth of who we are in God’s eyes.
The Mind: The mind, on the other hand, represents our thoughts, reasoning, and understanding. Romans 12:2 challenges us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” It’s through our mind that we discern, learn, and grow in wisdom.
Both heart and mind are integral in our spiritual life. The coherence between feeling and thinking shapes a balanced Christian walk. When the heart and mind are aligned under God’s Word, we find a powerful harmony that guides our actions and decisions.
💭 Think about it: Are your heart and mind in harmony with the teachings of Christ? How can you foster a deeper connection between your emotions and your thoughts to reflect God’s will?

Authority is a term we often take for granted and rarely think through. As such, we often breeze past how important it is to have an understanding of authority.
There are only 2 times in scripture that Jesus was amazed and both times were to do with authority. The understanding of it is vital to become all God made you to be.
In this episode, we will go over where authority comes from, the difference between God and man’s, how to grow in authority, how to recognize the source of authority in your life and those of others, and how to navigate authority correctly.
