Participated in a small 7-day ' Bullet Hell ' game jam recently with a few really talented people I met online for the event.
We were really inspired by the Touhou games.. so we tried making something similar with 13 waves of normal enemies and 2 boss fights.
I'd recommend trying it on the 'Possible' or 'Lunatic' difficulty 😉

The biggest lesson I learnt from this is that making a decent game (even though it was a 'crappy' game 🙃) just isn't enough, organic downloads are non-existent unless you learn to market and share your game.

My goal this year to learn how to market my games without shoving ads into your face, to make people want to play the games I make because they truly enjoy it, Its a long journey but one I will attempt.
