The tracks on the album have been newly mastered, optimizing the quiet and concentrated sound-world of Carson's two works for vinyl playback. Our newest album is hitting the streets on March 25th! "object/animal" showcases some pieces that have been close to our hearts for years now: Jeff Parker's Water on Glass, LJ White's We Don't Eat Dead Things, and Murat Çolak’s SWAN. Drawn from a myriad of inspirations including pre-existing pop, trance, film music, and musique concrète, "object/animal" is a sort of map of where we've traveled together, as a group and with our collaborators.

Here’s Aiyun working on the percussion-guitar part of Chris Mercer’s ‘Concerto Chamber.’ Hear it with the Mercer Studio Orchestra on Aiyun’s new album ‘Resonances’ now available from Sideband Records.

The album is a collection of pieces for percussion solo and percussion with electronics and it presents a broad display of contemporary percussion writing: from classic works of the genre, such as Roger Reynolds' ‘Autumn Island’ to works written specifically for the artist. ‘Resonances’ will be available as a digital download from Bandcamp, as well as all major online retailers, and it streams on all major streaming services. Physical CDs are available on our website.
