As I sit here tonight I am completely and overwhelmingly honored and humbled at the complete generosity, sincerity and amazing hearts that have filled our lives and this organization. To say today was a success is an understatement! We welcomed over 250 families, more than 500 kiddos today at our Spring EGGsravaganza fundraiser. However, NONE of today would have been possible without these amazing human beings!
Thank you to Boardman Park, Karen McCallum, and the entire staff! Thank you to SoundCheck Entertainment (Tanner and Jake) for MCing the event and providing the best dance and party atmosphere for the kiddos! Thank you to Mike Sanko Photography for the exceptional pictures with the bunny! Thank you to Hometown Produce for donating all of the veggies for a healthy snack for all our guests. Thank you to Smoke Worx, ChickFilA, HoneyBee Waffle, Sam's Club of Boardman, all of our table and basket sponsors. A HUGE shoutout to Leslie Johnson and family for always being there to ensure our organization's success. A heartfelt thank you to Mark and Emma and Ava for allowing me the time and effort to make this organization what it is today. Thank you to my mom and family for being our "right hand man" through it all. A shoutout to the Columbiana, Girard, Boardman National Honor Societies and Ursuline's Student of Stewardship groups for the countless volunteer hours to man each table, prepare the food and make sure that we had everything just as it needed to be today. Thank you to EVERYONE that came out in support, purchased raffle tickets and contributed to this amazing day. It is days like today that allow me the privilege to see the absolute best in people and their amazing hearts! When this organization was started 7 years ago, I would never have imagined sitting here today experiencing all of the success our small but mighty organization has accomplished. 7 years, over 600 families served in the Mahoning and Trumbull counties, a monthly support group for loss parents, and providing memory boxes for all losses at Mercy's Boardman campus. THANK YOU, THANK YOU and God Bless. I am certain there are three little angels in Heaven tonight looking down awfully proud of what legacies their families have built for them. Please take a few moments tonight to hug your babies a little tighter and send a prayer above for Olivia, Liam and Nathan!
