Mana Village | The First Village of Uttarakhand

Hardly 3 km from Badrinath, Mana is the first village at the Uttarakhand Indo-Tibetan border. This quaint village is around 3219 m above sea level and boasts a clearer sky and cleaner air. Resting on the banks of River Saraswati, Mana is home to the Bhotias (Mongol tribe). One can spend an entire day here appreciating the exquisitely carved rustic cottages. Detox yourself in the calmness of Mana while enjoying the cascade at the Vasundhara Falls. Gaze and goggle at the origin of the Saraswati River. Watch her gracefully flow into the Alaknanda River.
Mana village is best to visit from May to early November. From November to April, the region remains inaccessible due to heavy snowfall.

Badrinath Dham !
The famed town of Badrinath is among the four dominant Char Dham pilgrimage sites of India as well as the Chota Char Dham. It is perched at an average elevation of 3,300 metres (10827 feet) above sea level on the banks of Alaknanda River.

This holy town is named after the Badrinath temple dedicated to the preserver, Lord Vishnu. Many Hindu devotees are smitten by the charm of this holy shrine as it showcases the traditional Garhwali wooden architecture.

Our Itineary : Dehradun-Auli-Badrinath-Mana Village-Hemkund Sahib-Dehradun

Today, Me and Nishant we both are going to Auli. Auli was hard for us to reach the same day as the journey was not so long but due to a long weekend there were lots of travelers on the road and lots of landslides were there due to which we faced long traffic jams and chaos on the roads. So our first night stoppage was in Karanprayag.

From Majuli, we went to Kaziranga National Park Tour which was a must visit place on earth. Majuli Tour Day 3 - Visited Garamur Satra and Enjoyed Local Sightseeing
Sri Sri Garamur Satra is one of the four major royal Satras of the Majuli island. Established by the Ahom king Jayaddhvaj Singha in the year 1656 its founder Satradhikar was Lakshminarayandev, descendent of the line of Vamshigopalde, one of the most well known Vaisnava preachers of 17th century of Assam.
