GENEVA American rider Kent Farrington wowed the Swiss crowd at the Palexpo arena when he won the IJRC Top Ten Final at the prestigious 5* show
Farrington took the win with the13 year old gelding Vo**ur (x Tolano van’ t Riethof)ahead of French rider Simon Delestre (Hermes Ryan) and Daniel Deusser

MADRID CONGRATULATIONI TO ITALY 2° SPAIN the six bar and the Jump&Drive. Luca Maria Moneta with “Neptune Brecourtn” won the Six Bar competition, Pedro del Hierro Trophy. The italian was the only rider to jump over the 2m height obstacule and without knocking any of the jumps. Second was the Spanish rider Sergio Alvarez Moya and third Martin Fuchs who was able to jump the last obstacule but knocked the one before.

The legendary Nabab de Reve (Quidam de Revel x Artichaut) has passed away at the age of 25. Nabab de Reve has sired some of the best horses in the sport, including London, Vigo d’Arsouilles, Kashmir van't Schuttershof and Valentina van't Heike. Nabab de Reve was also successful in the sport himself, and was on the Belgium bronze team at the 2002 World Equestrian Games with Philippe Le Jeune as well as competing at the 2001 Europeans.

CHINA PEKIN 22 Chinese riders. WINNER LUDGER BEERBAUM Henrik von Eckermann from Sweden finished second, the Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet came third. With prize-money totalling around 1.3 million RMB, the “Longines Equestrian Beijing Masters” is the equestrian sport event endowed with the highest prize-money in the whole of China. In addition to the Grand Prix, an international team competition was staged for the first time this year. The long-term goal of the organisers is to establish the show permanently as a five-star show, Ludger Beerbaum commented, “Rome wasn’t built in a day either, but we are on the right track.”

Belgian 2013 European and 2014 WEG team Grand Prix rider Julie de Deken married her life partner Alexandre Leytens in a beautiful intimate ceremony on 26 September 2015. In attendance of their family and close friends they celebrated their wedding at the Castle of Berlaar with a stylish reception and beautiful evening dinner and party. De Deken and Leytens got married five years to the date they met each other for the first time.
