We want to take some time to highlight some of the ambitious women who have been a huge part in inspiring us to build CoVe.
Danara Moore: Danara is the Director of Experiential Education at Greenville University. After receiving her Masters of Music Business from New York University,
Danara was recruited by the International Marketing Department of Epic Records. She became the first individual in the music industry to hold a position solely dedicated to the international marketing of christian music into the general market. While at Epic, Danara was also intricately involved in the international marketing of superstar Shakira.Soon after, she joined the Columbia Records marketing team as a domestic marketing manager working with a wide variety of artists spanning from T Bone Burnett to P.O.D. Danara also acted as Sony Music's New York liaison in assisting with the record release and promotion plans for all christian and/or crossover music distributed through Sony Music.
Tiffany Norwood: Tiffany is the Founder & CEO of Tribetan and most recently named 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year by Cornell University!! Tribetan teaches everyone entrepreneurship and innovation literacy for success in business, school, and life. In the 90s Tiffany Norwood did something that no other entrepreneur has done since -she raised over $670 million dollars to fund a start-up. She was 27 at the time. That money was used to build the first-ever global digital radio platform; launch three satellites into space, including XM Radio; support the development of MP3/MP4 technologies; and, invest in a new generation of digital radio receivers. As one of the few global serial entrepreneurs and the first successful black female tech entrepreneur, Ms. Norwood’s career has spanned 52 countries, 30+ years, 7 start-ups, and a patent.
