The latest issue of THE POWER ISSUE - Who knew! 😅 Including our very own Couple Workouts 💪🏻
Never did I ever think that this would happen after meeting a complete stranger on a Dating Reality TV show which aired on . we may not have won the competition but for the first time in my life I can truly say that I walked away from that experience winning something way more important - YOU!

From being on that red couch together till now, we have, & continue to, grow from strength to strength. Through the ups and downs life throws at us, we've remained teammates through it all proving that THE POWER OF 2 will push us to achieve more than we ever imagined & I truly believe that this is still only the beginning for us.

Watching you grow by following your dream & pursuing your passion gives me so much joy ❤️
Where you are weak, I am strong & where I am weak, you are strong - taking turns to play the tambourine. My best friend & the curry to my rice (in an Indian Accent) 😉

No new episode today BUT to tide you over I decided to recommend the podcasts I love and that have directly influenced the creation and style of the SAFI Pod ♥️ The best way to ensure we are at an international level is by learning from them. .
1) is a mine of information on how to make the most of the business of being an actor. Hosted by there are so many gems, tips and guides to being successful as an actor.
2) is for anyone interested in stunts and the international stunt community, interviews with the top stunt performers, coordinators, riggers, equipment designers... just a deep dive into the history and current evolution of stunts.
3) with is a detailed look into Voice Acting, with episodes on character creation, auditioning, accents and even equipment and workshop advice. .
4) The Podcast is my personal favorite movie review, interview and analysis podcast. The right mix of nerdy appreciation and educated discussion, and the spoiler Podcasts are a must listen for any film nerd 🤓 .

•Episode 18•
For my last interview of 2019 I bring you the beautiful and talented Jo Galloway . Trained in Musical Theatre at the Waterfront Theatre School here in Cape Town she traveled the world with some amazing shows before packing her bag and taking the plunge into the big pool of LA. That was 8 years ago and since then she has built her career as an actress, writer, producer and director, through her company ShoWorks Entertainment . We chatted about the highs and lows of the industry, the ways we cope and the importance of having a support system and a place to step away from and not be overwhelmed by the work. This interview is filled with a solid mixture of hope and practicality and I feel every actor will listen and see that they are not alone in their sometimes uncontrollable ups and downs. She is a mine of information and experience and always open to share.

•Episode 17•
This episode is about business, investors and marketing your craft but without losing that love of the art and the passion for growth in our industry and our beautiful country. I sat down with Monica Rorvik the head of the Film and Media Department at Wesgro. They are in charge of promoting the Western Cape as a filming location and media creation hub. We talk about the importance of knowing your audience and selling your ideas to investors in a language that they understand. We both agree that everyone in the industry should become involved in the associations, guilds and groups that exist here in order to find a support structure and to have your voice heard in the important business, government and legal decisions being made about our jobs, in the end communication is key. One that we spoke about is SWIFT, Sisters Working in Film and Television, make sure to check them out.
