What have we learned so far?

This week we are switching it up. Instead of a new Rad Dad episode we are doing a recap of every episode and releasing all 10 recaps on Friday.

So, if you haven’t had the time to watch a full episode this is a great chance to catch up. For my old school folks, think of it as the Cliff Notes version of each episode.

Luke Ferrell host of Dudes Talking Freedom Podcast sits down with Rad Dad host Jonathan Lopez to discuss raising kids in a community, making your kids uncomfortable, and how he used what he learned in financial services to be an awesome husband, dad, and step-dad.

Luke is middle child with two brothers and a sister. He’s had many father type influencers in my life, mostly coaches and an actual dad, uncles and family friends that have influenced me to become the the dad/step-dad I am today.

He has been in sales most of his life in some form or fashion, but the bulk of his career he spent as an institutional trader (hedge funds, mutual funds, pensions funds, etc).

He currently owns 3910 Interiors with his wife, Rhiannon, who transitioned from fashion design almost three years ago. 3910 Interiors is a full service Interior Decorating firm, which means they help people select furniture, decor and other interior/exterior selections that maintain a cohesive design style.

He is one of four members of the Dudes Talking Freedom Podcast, where they offer opinions on hot topics and talk about what MSM isn’t discussing. They broach serious topics but always try to keep humor and community front and center.

Luke is a Rad Dad to two step-kids, Avery (10) and Nolan (8). Plus, Olivia (2.5) and my wife and I are expecting a boy in September.

Remember the Fallen
The Spartans used to bury their their warriors on the battlefield, memorize their name, and leave a headstone stating “Go tell the Spartans, passerby, That here, obedient to their laws, we lie.”

Meaning, they honored their commitment to never surrender and make the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

In the CrossFit community we honor our fallen servicemen and women by completing Murph on Memorial Day. It’s a tough workout that pushes your mental toughness to help us remember the fallen.

God Bless America and Thank you to all that have all! 🇺🇸
