A new Particular publication!

Quickly we move!

The response from my original post with the premiere issue's cover was overwhelming to say the least! Within 36 hours we had a deluge of submitted portfolios and emails full of images, submissions and questions along with content ideas that I would have never even thought about, not to mention almost 900 likes/loves and countless comments. So here are links and some Q&A's.

This magazine is definitely by the community and for the community of AI creatives. I am super excited to bring it all together for all of you!

(you can submit 10 images at 1200 px on the long end up to 3 times a month for consideration. Currently there are no themes listed for the year. This first issue will be mostly an creator spotlight along with our written content. So only send the best of the best!)

Questions we have been asked so far about submitting:

Can i submit if outside the USA?
Of course! Currently the submission form only reflects US phone numbers and zip codes. That will be updated shortly (look for an updated link)

Is there an age limit to submit?
Any age group is welcome. However, submission agreements are contracts and therefore need a sign-off by someone over 18 for publication. Just have an old fogie handy while submitting!

What about copyrights? Do I still own them?
As much as you own them from the engines you create from or the tools you use. We are only displaying the images (and editorial content). You are responsible for any and all copyright issues that may arise concerning your submission. Please read all terms and conditions when submitting.

Do I get paid if you print my stuff?
Sorry, but image contributors are not being compensated at this time. However, by providing your handle and portfolio link, you can utilize them to promote any items or services you may have. Also, there will be low cost opportunities to promote in the magazine as well.

So that means paying to advertise my stuff?
At some point we need to recover some costs. We are severely limiting advertisements in this first issue. If you are selling something, it makes sense to spend a little to make more, no? You will never pay to submit for consideration though! And as stated, you can put your url in your submission for free.

What is the coverage? how many subscribers?
We just started and there is no final subscription strategy set in stone right now. But if the initial reaction to the announcement and the amount of emails and submissions we are getting is any indication, coverage will be bigger and wider than any publication I have ever been part of. Sign up on FB or on the website (not live yet!) to get the newsletter and keep up with our progress!

Is it just an image magazine? I see thousands of images a day already.
Absolutely not. We have meaningful and timely content planned for every issue with some VERY cool writers (you may know!) This covers all AI creative including video, music and writing. Plus we ask for only the best of your best when submitting!

I used Photoshop to create my submission. Is that ok?
If you used AI in your workflow, it is only natural that you would use other tools to get a final image. If you digitally painted some manga in your graphics program from start to finish - well, don't submit that! But if you fixed those sausage hands and took out that second head in PS - send that one.

I only use Midjourney. Can I submit?
Yes, for sure. IF you would consider it the best image you have a hand in creating. Most portraits and generated art tend not to be final pieces. we highly suggest not just tweaking your prompt, but learning the ins and outs of other apps and software to make it truly original and truly yours (although, if it comes out that way from the start send it! But fix the hands!)
