India's posture has shifted dramatically as the US threatens that history will judge India's actions. It's up to India to determine if its neutrality policy will benefit it.

India has also refused to oppose Russia's military operation in Ukraine, despite mounting US pressure.

Russia supplies 60% of India's weapons imports and has several cooperative military projects. India also wants Russia's help in dealing with the Chinese in case the US decides to improve its relations with China, which automatically affects India's relations with Russia.

As the US has proved that it will go to any extent to maintain its global leadership, it is not willing to share its hegemony with anybody, including India.

Russia's military action in Ukraine has shown the limitations of western powers in the 21st century, as well as the extent to which they are willing to go to protect a post-war international order.

US-BACKED 'DEMOCRACY': LIBYA EDITION

The Western world rejoiced when former Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was hauled from a drainage pipe in his hometown of Sirte and murdered by NATO-backed rebel troops in October 2011.

In actuality, the leadership vacuum left by Gaddafi's government, along with enormous stockpiles of unguarded weaponry, is available for the taking. It created a security threat that not only continues to endanger the country today but also has long-term consequences for the worldwide fight against violent extremism.

Human smuggling is prevalent, and black markets thrive with anything from oil to hard money. But the government relies on fighting militias, many of whom are paid to enforce the smuggling laws.

Years after Western-backed Libyans took to the streets to demand democracy, the nation is at war and more divided than ever. Libyan life has now gotten far worse.

Ukraine's President Zelensky is gambling with his people's lives and worsening their suffering by prolonging a war he knows he can't win.

The video depicts a botched Molotov ambush in Kherson, Ukraine. The civilian-turned-militia never came close to the tanks, not in the least. These last-minute conscripts were slaughtered brutally along with the scattered corpses. Beside is an anti-tank rifle supplied by the United States. They never managed to operate close enough. It was left unused.

Zelensky's government tells citizens to make Molotov cocktails to fight Russia and lifts age limits on army recruitment.

Should it be considered a crime to urge civilians to oppose a well-trained army?

Ukraine made a mistake, and now it must face the consequences. The president of Ukraine had a better chance of avoiding conflict if he was fair rather than serving as an American proxy against the Russians, but he fell for American deceit. Now we're forced to confront a military force far larger than their own.

The economic hangover from the Ukraine crisis is starting to settle in already. The EU is now saying it will find other suppliers— eventually. Many in Washington were rubbing their hands at the dream of replacing Russia as the EU's energy provider. But in the meantime, energy prices have skyrocketed, with no end in sight.

Zelensky's tragedy: A Foreign Policy Gone Awry

President Zelensky is almost certain to be aware of his terrible disaster. He campaigned on a promise to bring Ukraine to western Europe by joining NATO. Ukraine's membership in NATO, on the other hand, is off the table. The west treated them as pawns in a game of chess in the world of politics. The US was well aware of this and that someday Ukraine would return to Russia's embrace. It's only a matter of time before a better deal becomes available.

Zelensky's officials appear naive, completely unaware of the events unfolding around them and around the world. This reveals the president's ignorance of geopolitics. His blunders had caused his country's demise. He created this mess thinking that NATO was going to protect him, yet he won't join NATO or the EU.

After Biden's election, the west has been gently persuading Zelensky to make peace with Russia and abandon his dream of joining NATO. But he can't listen. The comedian turned president can't grasp the fact that in politics, only national interests matter. Unless there is a mutual benefit, there are no long-term friendships or alliances between nations; these friendly countries will never jeopardise their peace to protect you.

And so it happened. The war broke out. This is the culmination of his ego, ambition, and delusion. The letter was written on the wall, so his tenure as Ukraine's president is numbered. This is what history will remember him for.
