Just got word that Larkin Malloy, who played my brother "Travis" on All My Children, died of complications from a heart attack he suffered on Saturday. Larkin Malloy welcomed me like a brother when I joined the cast in 1987. We worked together, did appearances together, partied together, vacationed together. He was an "actor's actor," spending many years teaching the craft, and a gentleman in the Old World style. We spent many hours together, both on set and off, and truly were "Irish brothers from another mother." Tommy, you will be missed. Love you, brother.

Agnes Nixon, Who Injected Social Ills Into Soap Operas, Dies at 93

It's with a heavy, and sad heart i write this.....
Last night my husband told me Agnes Nixon died, I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. I COULDN'T WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT..TODAY, I WANT TO MEMORIALIZE AGNES, AND THE WORLD'S SHE CREATED THAT I LOVED TO LIVE IN....


Without and I wouldn't be alive today. created 2 of my favorite world's to live in when my reality got to hard to deal with.
I watched and everyday I could for 40+yrs , and those years kept me close to my mother( who also fights with Parkinson's disease every day), even when we were stationed in different states. We ALWAYS had our 3 Soaps in common.

When I was In the hospital for a better part of a year with a post op MRSA infection, I woke up every day to watch AMC ,OLTL ,and GH. These characters and actors were my family away from home, and they didn't even know it. They helped heal me, and get me home in my hospital bed so I could keep watching them. On Saturday and Sunday, I felt lost in the hospital. ..waiting for Monday. :)
and every single person and ,casts and crews, did this for me...Thank you Agnes Nixon, and every one else that helped me fight to be here today.
You know, I even talked to Agnes, and worked hard to bring and back to TV, and we did it on !!! I also helped bring it to . ..
I WILL LOVE AGNES NIXON AS A PART OF MY FAMILY, FOREVER...
RIP AGNES....I AM SENDING MY PRAYERS AND LOVE TO THE NIXON FAMILY, ESPECIALLY HER 4 CHILDREN. BOBBY, I KNOW YOU WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE YOUR MOTHER PROUD WITH THE AMAZING FILMS YOU CREATE..
I hate ending this post because, that means I HAVE TO ADMIT that our BEAUTIFUL Agnes has crossed over...

We lost Nathaniel Marston one of our own "One Life to Live " family members on Veteran's Day. I'm sure you remember he not only portrayed a wonderful Al Holden but, he also came back , and played Michael Mcbain.
If you had one moment of laughter or tears brought on by either of his characters, please consider donating to his gofundme.
This campaign was started to help Elizabeth Jackson his wonderful mother help pay his hospital bills. Now, unfortunately it is also helping to pay his funeral arrangements.

I work in the film industry , and there is a BIG FALLACY in the Soap Opera world. Soap Stars don't make millions of dollars. Heck, most don't make thousands of dollars. They are lucky if their soap job can make ends meet, and many of them work two jobs, or their significant others have to work.
Nathaniel Marston was loved by many. Elizabeth has set up 3 services in 3 different states including, Nevada, Hawaii , and New York hoping all his family, friends, and fans will come to pay their last respects but, also celebrate Nathaniel's life...
Remember, we only have " One Life to Live"..
