Midnight Adventure
A song by B. Francis Garrison
I wrote the lyrics to this song a long time ago. It was based on my epic hike, starting at 11:00 pm at the trail-head of Mount Marcy, The Eastern High Peaks, seeking to unlock and capture the essence of the moment, a summit sunrise. The strenuous trek up the rugged mountain, no switch-backs, Mount Marcy being the highest mountain in New York State, The Adirondack Park USA.
A legendary singer-songwriter uncovered and read my lyrics, and with a little collaboration, Mark from Brooklyn New York shaped my lyrics into a ballad. I hope you enjoy it. Recorded by Daniel Gowen on and old iPhone, the audio is not studio quality. It was recorded on a park bench in Dutchess County New York USA. Based on a true story, I hope you like it.
