Magellan’s Cross is a popular historical site and tourist destination that’s located in Plaza Sugbo, right next to the Basilica del Santo Niño. Fun fact: This area was declared a National Cultural Treasure of the Philippines in 2021.

What’s inside this small stone building? It is said that the original cross that was planted by Ferdinand Magellan is housed inside. The ceiling is covered with a mural that depicts the baptism of Rajah Humabon as well as the story behind the cross.

The Temple of Leah is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cebu City, so we had to make a trip to see it ourselves! This Roman-style temple was built by Teodorico Soriano Adarna as a monument of love to his late wife, Leah Albino-Adarna.

While it's a beautiful sight to see all year round, we'd recommend visiting during December to May so that you can enjoy the landscape with clear skies.
