PINKY PROMISE 💕

A little moment for with goodies for that glow up.

A couple of new goodies I’m trying out:
💕 * face glaze - I love a good glowy base but I can’t do anything that makes my oily skin too shiny. This has the perfect balance of moisture and luminosity without making me look like an oil slick.
🌸 * pack up and glow priming spf - the formula on this is gorgeous, light and hydrating with a glow from within sheen. My only hang up is it does have some slight pilling, sigh. I’m going to keep trying it to see if I can make it work!
💖 * shimmer face oil in pink opal - as a combo gal I wasn’t sure I’d like this but it’s actually quite beautiful. I use a half pump with my thicker formulas to help thin them out and give some glow. I’ll use a few dabs alone on my high points for that natural glow effect.

Is it me, or are weekends feeling shorter and shorter these days? Well, it’s back to the weekday grind but serving it up with some favs.

☀️ major sculpt contour & bronzer duo (shade she’s sculpted) - I’d been trying to get my hands on this since last summer and it does not disappoint. The formulas are stunning but I especially like that the cream is a cooler-toned contour.
🤎 positive light tinted moisturizer (shade 22w) - I wasn’t expecting to love this formula as much as I do. As an oily skinned gal, this leaves my skin looking fresh (never shiny) even after extended wear.
👁 perfect strokes mascara - I ended up buying the full size of this during the Sephora sale. It’s a more wet formula that allows me to extend my lashes without clumping.
🧡 (shade cheeky coral) -This shade screams spring and the formula is a creamy liquid that gives the perfect peachy dewy flush.
🍑 addict lip glow oil (shade peach glow) - After finally snagging the backstage coral blush I could NOT pass up this limited edition lip oil shade. A hint of peachy, juicy goodness that I plan to wear all summer long.

Sounds silly, but my skincare routine acts as a bookend to my day to take a few minutes to reset, relax, and clear my head. As a gracefully aging mamma, I never say no to trying new skincare to target signs of aging. What I like about both of these is the texture. The Super Multi-Corrective Eye Cream has a lightweight, non-greasy gel formula that works well to help create a hydrated base for my concealer. Pair it with the Super Multi-Corrective Cream for a 1-2 punch for radiant, even-toned skin.

A late moment on a Thursday (it’s that kind of week 🤣) with the newest launch from cocokind]].
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is the new silk SPF - a hybrid chemical and mineral sunscreen with SPF 30. My big takeaway with this one is the texture. It’s truly silky smooth, incredibly hydrating with banana blossom, and left my skin glowing with almost no white cast. The only downside, which I’ve found to be true of any mineral only or hybrid formulas I use, is there can be some pilling. This one only had very minimal pilling after applying my makeup base, but could be somewhat minimized by using a more hydrating foundation and gel moisturizer.

Overall, I prefer this to the cocokind]] daily SPF and one I’ve been reaching for on my no-makeup days. Are you a mineral, chemical, or hybrid sunscreen fan?

There’s something about a luxe lipstick that just hits differently. I’m typically not a lipstick wearer but when it’s done right, there truly is nothing better. Drooling over the Rosso Valentino Refillable Lipstick here in the matte shade - 111A Undressed Velvet💄

Swipe for a full on packaging moment with the bold red and gold that is unmistakably . Side note, the Eye2Cheek Blush and Eyeshadow formula is incredible. Pigmented yet soft, with the perfect subtle hint of luminosity. And I also recently tried the Magnificent Volumizing Mascara which actually surprised me with sky high lashes. Need to test it a bit more but first impressions are quite good.

EYE CATCHING ✨ (➡️ SWIPE FOR SWATCHES)

You all know how I feel about one and done shadows (hint - it involves hearts). Which is why I was excited to get my hands on ’s recently relaunched 10-Second Eyeshadows.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This seems to be a polarizing formula so let me set the record straight on these - they are a wash (watercolor is in the product name), so it’s a lightweight liquid formula with a soft yet buildable pigment. My tips on using these are:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ Layer - for more pigmentation and lasting power, apply more than one layer.
✨ Mix it up - mix and match colors to add a little extra dimension to your eyes. I use darker shades like Fiery and Smolder in my crease with lighter shades Simmer and Electric on my lid.
✨ When in doubt, blend it out - although it’s easy to use your fingers with these, a dense round brush is great to help blend out the product.

It’s too early to tell long term results results but here are some of my first impressions: ​​​​​​​​
🏵 it’s got a lovely light scent, not overpowering at all and dissipates quickly. ​​​​​​​​
🏵 the milky liquid texture is somewhat thicker between a toner and serum, but it dries down beautifully and doesn’t leave a tacky or sticky feeling. ​​​​​​​​
🏵 after using a few times my skin does feel noticeably smoother and gave me zero irritation! ​​​​​​​​

Words can even describe the beauty that is the Major Dimension II Rose Eyeshadow Palette. The gasp I made upon opening was enough to describe just how breathtaking it is.

Although it pained me to swatch it and ruin the perfect embossing, what I can tell you is the formulas are incredible. The mattes are buttery soft and felt like literal velvet on my fingers. The shimmers and topper shades are in a league of their own with color shifts I couldn’t even begin to capture on camera (lust and affair are just BEYOND). The creams remind me of those in the blush duos - lightweight and pigmented, yet so blendable.

Overall, I think this is a fantastic palette that’s worth the investment due to the variety of shades and formulations that could create countless looks.
