Just a quick reminder that we will be discussing this film in tomorrow's episode and would recommend watching it before listening to our discussion as we mention some spoilers but the episode will generally make more sense to you after watching the film. We would also like to highlight content warnings of police brutality and race-based violence.

Next Monday we will be discussing the film Banlieusards (also called Street Flow) which is available to watch on Netflix. Give it a watch to get more out of our episode and please do let us know what you think of it!

Join us as we interview Matty Whelan, creator of Haydon Park Road Sessions, a music platform showcasing the best grassroots talent 💜

In fact Darcey was so starstruck by Matty that she misspronounced Haydon Park Road Sessions multiple times lol

Despite this minor hiccup ;) we still managed to record an episode all about music and revolutions so enjoy!

Hannah, 20, Ta**us

A master of all trades, HandAN has enough achievements and skills to fill a LinkedIn profile. When she’s not running music events to celebrate female DJs, she’s involved in helping coordinate art collective events, schmoozing with the Jewish society or listening to Charlotte’s album- long voice notes. SO MANY voice notes... To top it all, she always has a recommendation for you on something interesting. Always groovy never gloomy.

Darcey, 21, Capricorn

As a Capricorn Queen, blogger and quadrilingual, Darcey is a force to be reckoned with. Though often mistaken for a badger, Darcey is far from nocturnal. An infamous early riser, list maker and activist, this woman has more plans than avocado smashes, oh wait...It’s hard enough to keep up with her busy social life let alone her ssssspeeedy speech, but she’s so organised she probably already got a calendar and translation book ready.

Charlotte, Gemini, 20

Charlotte is what is commonly referred to as a ray of sunshine. An outstanding human to the core, she is constantly making those around her feel loved. If she isn’t volunteering at Seeds of Hope, fiercely fighting for the causes she believes in, or sipping tea at Tchai Ovna, Charlotte can be found sending multiple voice notes. A true highlight of any group chat, these are where the podcast found its origins. An adventurous, strong, independent woman, Charlotte is what you would call the bomb
