Hello everyone you can go back to BC Weather Page. It's not being deleted and I have alot of support on that page.. I am very sorry for the confusion everyone my deep apologies to everyone.. it's also easier to keep BC Weather Page so people don't have to worry about checking both pages. Please let me know how you feel about this I love the hearing feedback regarding my pages

The BC Coast will see some cold temperatures near February 23 and 24th looking like the coldest days.. the entire province including the Coast is expected to potentially reach -20C wind chills during this event.. even West Vancouver Island could see up to -15C to -20C wind chills. Low pressure systems are expected for the end of the month do we will see what happens.

Arctic air makes its way to Western Canada for the end of the month.. South Coast could see daytime highs struggling to reach 0C as most inland areas could see daytime highs near -2C or -1C.. Interior will see another round of -20C or below wind chills..

Flurries at times heavy will continue across Northern BC and North Central BC Interior today. Widespread snow will move into the BC Peace River region sometime this morning. Snowfall amounts will range from 1-8cm today with highest amounts being where the heaviest snow bands set up

Partly Cloudy skies for most of the Southern Interior.. gusty winds at times for some areas. Nighttime lows flex around -11C to -5C, tomorrows daytime high will reach near 2-5C.

Clouds increase before morning and early Wednesday morning for the Central Interior. Chance of flurries for Interior. Gusty winds up to 30-40km/h at times. Daytime highs near -3C to 2C

Periods of snow begins Wednesday morning for Northern parts of the Central Interior such as Prince George and Northern parts of Cariboo and Northern parts of Chilcotin where 2-6cm is possible.

Periods of snow or chance of flurries for Northern BC tonight through Wednesday.. temperatures near or below -10C, daytime highs struggle to reach 2C

Periods of rain will spread through the BC Coast tonight and early Wednesday morning. Periods of rain will start over the North Coast then move into the South Coast by overnight hours..

There is a chance of showers this evening for the Coast.

WINTERSTORM WARNING IN EFFECT
Issued Tuesday February 14 2023 at 10:51pm

(North Coast Inland sections)

A strong low pressure with an associated cold front is making its way down the BC Coast. This storm will begin spreading snow to the Kitimat and Stewart area by overnight hours. Snow will become heavy at times by Thursday morning but will be mixed with freezing rain at times. The snow at times heavy at times mixed with freezing rain is expected to end near Thursday as the system moves to the Southeast.. roughly 20-30cm of snowfall accumulations is expected by Thursday morning. Ice accumulations around 1mm.

The Polar Vortex is expected to take aim at Western Canada near end of month.. models indicate the potential for this Arctic Air to be worse then what we seen in January as January was a very mild and warm month.. I will know more about temperature wise as the event nears as its looking cold but anything could change. I will keep everyone updated on this incoming Arctic blast

Sunny to party Cloudy skies across BC today. An incoming low pressure system will bring scattered to widespread rainshowers across parts of the Coast. At this time the rain will stay to the North of the Central Coast but it could easily move South a little more and give the South Coast some showers as well. Temperatures will be flexing today.

This winter sure has been an unusual winter, Arctic Blasts then warm weather then Arctic blasts and warm weather again? Just keeps bouncing, this is because the Polar Vortex moved East into Eastern Canada then moved into the other side of Earth such as Europe and Russia, right behind these systems is a ridge of high pressure which develops as the Polar Vortex begins rapidly moving. High pressure systems give warmer temperatures and more sunny conditions.

This Polar Vortex has been bouncing all around Earth this winter and has resulted in temperatures records being broken across most of Northern sections of Earth. Even California and Flordia got below 0C and Mexico too.

This winter has been a weird one but a Pacific high pressure airmass has stalled over Western Canada leading to warmer temperatures over the past couple weeks. And thats about to change. Ths Polar Vortex takes aim at Canada again towards end of month, Western Canada won't get below -40C but Eastern Canada could be in for another deep freeze

A winter storm is moving across North Central Ontario to Southern Quebec and is bringing hazardous winter condition.. widespread freezing rain along the Southern side of the system and heavy snowfall elsewhere, snowfall totals will range from 5-30cm. Freezing rain accumulations 2-5mm.

Wind warnings for Southwestern Alberta for wind gusts up to 100km/h possible..

Heavy snow continues this morning for Hwy1 Eagle to Roger's Pass with an additional a few cm of snowfall accumulations this morning before easing to a few flurries.

Snowfall warnings in effect for Fort Providence, Wigley, and Tulita regions in the NorthWestTerritories, a low pressure system will bring upwards to 10-15cm of accumulations

(Kimmirut, Iqaluit)

A powerful winterstorm is set to slam these parts of Nunavut on Friday and Friday night. Strong wind gusts between 30-70km/h along with heavy snowfall with accumulations ranging from 30-50cm.

Storm will east late Friday night or Saturday morning as the system eases and moves away.

A powerful storm will impact Northeastern Quebec Thursday night.. heavy snowfall and heavy winds will drop visibility down to 400m or less.. snowfall accumulations around 10-15cm but with those heavy winds most of the snow will be drifts.. strong wind gusts between 60-90km/h is expected..

Freezing rain along with heavy winds is expected over the waters between Quebec and Nunavut

Wind events setting up across parts of the country this week.. foothills/rockies of Western Alberta will see wind gusts of 90+km/h... Greater Slave Lake I'm NorthWestTerritories will likely see wind gusts reaching near 80-90km/h on Friday/Saturday.. Yellowknife may get gusts up to 30km/h but that's about it
