From the very beginning, Film & Fable has been built on a foundation of faith, prayer, and love. We remember several 3am conversations with our besties that ignighted the initial fire and passion in us, and in fact, Film & Fable was born from a late night conversation in their 2-bedroom apartment. There were MANY conversations along the way with Marcus and Bianca that helped build the success we have now.
From there, we’ve made it ours by following that initial call of God. We’ve prayed through every business move, we pray for every couple and their day, and we continue to pray for those who find themselves on our social media or in our inquiries. This business really has deepened our love for people in a new way.
We’ve recently been taking little leaps of faith, and have worked with/became inspired by several in the industry that we believe have helped launch us into a much higher level of creativity and passion. Whether they knew it or not, they’ve been inspiring and sharpening us.
We have felt strongly for months that God was taking us much deeper, and then that was confirmed through at a wedding a few weeks ago, as she encouraged us to make business moves that scare us a little because that’s where the growth is (along with many other encouraging words that confirmed unspoken thoughts & prayers in our private conversations together).
In this industry, we have seen time and time again that iron sharpens iron. Humbly listening to others is a game changer and partnering with people will take you much further than you could ever go alone. We really never want to take credit for how we got here, because God has used so many people in our lives to give us all the pieces, and all we’ve done is put it together. Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of this journey. We feel like there’s so much more to come from Film & Fable and we really couldn’t do it without God putting others on our path 🥹🫶

MEET THE FILMMAKERS 🎥🎬🎞️
Hey, hey! We’re Jack & Alyssa and we’re destination wedding videographers based in Atlanta (which is convenient considering that ATL has the busiest airport in the world lolll) ✈️ We haven’t posted our faces in a while (since September 2022😳😂😅), so we figured we might as well introduce ourselves & give a little info about us 🤪
- We’re a married team & do almost everything together! We’re kind of obsessed with each other 😂 We also have a 1 year old son named Leo & he’s seriously the most happy & social baby. He’s a videographer in training & will probably be the future of Film & Fable 😉
- We’re big on family & we always try to make everyone feel loved like they’re a part of ours. We typically end up meeting friends everywhere we go & always want you to feel comfortable as soon as you meet us!
- We take pride in what we do & believe that our business is truly a gift from God. The Bible says that “Whatever you do, work at it with all of your heart, & work as if you are working for the Lord.”-Col. 3:23. For every wedding day, we try with everything in us to adopt that heartbeat, & we hope that reflects in our films. No matter what we are doing, or how busy we might be, we try to do everything well and with excellence, because we truly believe that the memories are worth stewarding well.
- In 3 years of filming weddings, we’ve shot in 18 states (but visited 24 states along the way) & we’ve captured over 130 weddings 🤯 We’re high-energy, passionate, & don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon 😜

We’ve had so many new faces around here so we just wanted to pop in a give a few fun facts about us and Film & Fable 🎉
1. First off, hey! We’re Jack & Alyssa (plus Leo), the owners of Film & Fable. We’re based outside of Atlanta, GA, but we’re usually bouncing all over the country filming weddings ☺️🎥
2. We just had our first baby in April and he often times is joining us on our adventures. (Think baby wearing while carrying a gimbal 😂) Leo is super chatty at home, but when we baby wear he’s quiet and happy as can be. All of our clients are always shocked at how good he is 🙈 When he’s not with us, he’s usually with family having a blast 🚀
3. We’ve been in 21 states together and are trying to knock out all 50 🇺🇸
4. Jack quit his job 2 months before we got married (also 2 months after we started the business) to be full time 😳 Thank God it worked out 😂
5. In 2 years, we’ve filmed over a hundred weddings 🤯 Needless to say, our plate has been full, but it’s been SO worth it 🙌🏼
6. Jack is the brains, Alyssa is the heart. Paired together, we really try to make films that are both technical & creative while also being very detailed in how we capture love, memories, and moments.
7. When we’re not traveling, we love spending time with family and friends. Quality time with those we love most is at the top of our priority list 🥹

We’ve never had two people be so considerate of us during a time when THEY’RE supposed to be the center of attention.
We first met Arlyn & Jeremy during their engagement session at Black Balsam K**b with , and we had such a blast chatting and making some absolute magic ⛰🎥 We could already tell that we were all going to work really well together during their wedding ✨
At the end of their engagement session, they mentioned wanting to take us out to dinner sometime, so next time they were in ATL, we made it happen! They were extremely generous and covered the whole thing for both us + Marcus & Bianca which they didn’t have to do AT ALL 😭🤍 then the weekend of their wedding, they offered to cover a hotel for us all in the heart of Charlotte, NC so we would be super well rested, and then repeatedly made sure we were all well fed and comfortable on their wedding day 🥹 ANNNDDD then they gifted us a hand painted canvas bag that was so meaningful it actually made Alyssa tear up 😩🙌🏼
Words just cannot express the gratitude we have. Thank you times a BILLION for making us feel beyond loved and cared for. We are unbelievably grateful to know you guys and to have become friends along the way. We love you two and can’t wait to create something to help you relive your wedding day over and over again 🥰

Introducing the newest member to the Film & Fable team: Leo James Wagner, born on April 22, 2022 💙
Our sweet little 7lb, 7oz baby is beyond perfect and we are over the moon about walking into this new journey as parents 😍 Can’t wait to bring this little one on all of our travels and teach him all the ropes of editing 😉
Our couples have been SOOO supportive as we have been learning how to navigate pregnancy and parenting, and the favor/grace we’ve been given continuously leaves us IMMENSELY grateful that we even get to do this. We can’t wait to continue to bring you guys along for the ride 🤍🤍

Time.
It seems to be one of those things that we never have enough of, yet God is always so faithful in ensuring that everything still gets done. There have been so many seasons (especially this one) when we didn’t know if we would survive the busyness. We’re rebuilding our website, editing tons of highlight films, ceremonies, speeches, teasers, and small shoots. We’re out of state almost every weekend, finances need to always be managed, and our social media presence hasn’t been as strong as we’d like. Life sometimes seems to go so fast, and in some ways, we’ve always loved the rush of a busy life. But in this season we’ve been challenged and almost forced to SLOW DOWN; because quite honestly, we’re crazy people who bit off a little more than we can chew 😂
“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the LORD’S purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21
That’s why this baby is already one of the best things that’s ever happened in our life. For our business, it’s made us plan ahead and with certain boundaries in place. For our personal life, it’s caused us to prioritize our health and mental well being. We take more nights off to spend time with each other, we stress less about the never ending “To-Do” and just push through it one step at a time. We’ve learned the importance of spending more time on the little details instead of trying to look 15 steps ahead.
Time: it seems to be one of those things that we never quite have enough of, which is why we can’t rush by these moments. Every detail matters too much to let them just pass in and out of our life.

Story Time:
Turns out that and Hunter actually found us from our post of + ‘s wedding at the venue . They loved the video so much that they ended up booking us from it! 🎉
And not only did they book us from seeing that video, they actually wound up having their wedding EXACTLY one year after Emily + Ben, and at the exact same venue!
AANNNDDDD (this is the crazy part), when we finally realized all that and shared with Madison + Hunter about it, they actually told us they were having a venue tour ON THE SAME DAY AS EMILY + BEN’S WEDDING 🤯 So little did we know that at one of our couple’s weddings, the same couple we’d be shooting a year from that exact date at that exact place were THERE just minutes before we were, and ended up booking us from seeing that same wedding 😂
So if you’re a vendor, tag other vendors; because you never know which couples might find you. And if you’re a couple looking for vendors, look at your venue’s tagged post. You never know who you might find for your own wedding, apparently 😂🙌🏼

Something classic from Charleston 🤍 Back in May, we drove to Charleston to capture Esabel and James’ wedding. Every carefully curated, vintage-thrifted detail felt like a scene from the Notebook (Charleston has that effect, doesn’t it?). But beyond the oyster shooters, the detailed napkins, and the party on the dance floor, what truly stood out was the deep love they shared—not just for each other, but for everyone around them. We watched as they hugged every family member, offered everyone food, poured out their hearts to each other, & rested in what each moment would bring. This kind of love is inspiring; steadfast, patient, & deep. It was built from long distance deployments, late night drives, and a heart choosing to love deeply. Sound design has become such a critical part of our process. It creates such a beautiful sense of intensity, emotion, & heart. As musicians, we’ve always struggled with customizing our audio and didn’t have the tools to easily do so. We’re both super picky with music and always hoped for a tool that would allow us to create whatever we were envisioning (especially when we couldn’t find any licensed music that fit the vibe 😅). Not to sound like a walking advertisement, but @multiply.sound actually changed the game for us. We now get to customize each set of audio to bring a stronger sense of depth and soul to all of our films. In honor of baby Thiel coming in the next week or so 🥹😍 We filmed Kaitlyn & Tyler’s 2 part wedding back in 2022. Part one in our home state, part 2 up in Wisconsin where Jack’s mom lives! We became friends throughout the process, so when we travelled up last September for a wedding, we wanted to connect with them too! We asked if they wanted to film and hike this location we’ve been dying to go to, and they agreed 😍 To our surprise, they ended up being unknowingly pregnant and found out right before we started editing. As we’ve gotten older, family life has increasingly become an even bigger value for us. When we announced the pregnancy of our sweet Leo, we created a film that to this day makes me cry reminiscing on. It’s a reverent moment of 2 becoming 3 (or 3 becoming 4, etc.). It’s a moment of joy between you and your significant other. It’s the celebration of a life. Throughout the years, our couples have come to us asking to create a film announcing their new little love and it’s something that I (Alyssa) have always found a passion in, but have only allowed our previous couple access to. Just wrapped up the perfect wedding weekend with our best friends feat. our 2 kids 🤪 We don’t always get to bring the babies and don’t always get to shoot together, but this weekend Marcus’ sister was able to join us to watch them for the wedding. Instead of rushing back home, we were able to squeeze in a little beach trip in between and had a blast exploring a little bit of Tampa 😍 Having a job that allows for family time has made all the difference in our lives, and it’s a blessing we don’t take for granted. For the first time in probably about a year, we filmed a wedding in our own town with no more than a 15-minute drive home, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day 🥹 All week it was threatening to rain, but when the day came, it stayed overcast with pops of sun at the perfect moments ⛅️There were so many vendor friends who we’ve worked with in the past, the couple was SOOO fun and gave us the creative freedom to do our thing, the shots looked so. dang. good.
