PRESIDENT TINUBU CANCELS SCHEDULED EVENTS IN LAGOS IN HONOUR OF VICTIMS OF STAMPEDE IN FCT, ANAMBRA

President Bola Tinubu cancelled all his official events in Lagos today, including his attendance at the 2024 Lagos Boat Regatta in honour of the stampede victims in Abuja and Okija, Anambra State.

The two tragedies claimed many lives and left many others injured.

President Tinubu was scheduled to watch the boat parade and other activities of the Boat Regatta from the waterfront of his Queen’s Drive residence in Ikoyi.

Dignitaries, including top officials of the Lagos State government and white cap chiefs from the State, were already seated when the President cancelled his appearance following briefings on the tragedies.

Commiserating with the victims of the unfortunate incidents in Anambra and the Federal Capital Territory, President Tinubu urged states and relevant authorities to enforce strict crowd control measures immediately.

He noted that it was very disturbing that the events at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Maitama, Abuja, and a community Centre in Okija, Anambra State, bore a distressing resemblance to the recent incident in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He said local and state authorities should no longer tolerate operational lapses by organisations and corporate bodies involved in charitable and humanitarian activities.

While praying for the peaceful repose of innocent Nigerians who died in the stampede, President Tinubu wished a quick recovery to the injured.

He reiterated that these mishaps are avoidable if event planners adhere to necessary safeguards and protocols to ensure pre- and post-event safety.

‘’In a season of joy and celebration, we grieve with fellow citizens mourning the painful losses of their loved ones. Our prayers of divine comfort and healing are with them,’’ President Tinubu said.

The President wished the Lagos State government, organisers of the Boat Regatta, themed ‘’Our Water, Our Heritage, Our Life,’’ a successful and hitch-free festival.

Seven Door Produced by Femi Adebayo

This movie caught my attention through the short trailer I watched and I was anticipating for it until it was released 13th December, 2024 on Netflix.
This movie being a series will captivate your mind from Episode 1 till last episode.
From the cast and crew, costume, sets and character choices I mean they really made the movie an A list one for December movie lovers
1. The movie portrays deep issues happening in society that are beyond the commoners to see except those closer to seat of power.
2. Love can make a man or woman make tough decisions. Love also conquers the worst adversity a man could have.
3. Yorùbá culture and tradition is deeply rooted and transcends beyond just being a speaker.
4. Most people want to ascend power without really finding out the sacrifices they have to make on the seat.
5. If you cannot k*ll the real source of your problem (Esùsú)
You are not yet free from constant and persistent problems.

To cap it up I want to give kudos to Femi Adebayo whom I will call the epic movie maestro, he has consistently delivered top notch epic masterpiece that will keep you glued to your screen till the end.
He is a modern face in epic big screen for Nigerian movie industry.
May we all have a brighter Sunday ahead

I was telling someone yesterday that Egbon Odunlade should work on his storyline .

ORISA and Lakatabu can be better.

He should start thinking outside the box.

He is a good actor arguably one of the best but his storylines aren’t up to standard.

Ødųn!ade Ãděko!ä will open his eyes and watch all these movie from Funke Akindele, Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, even Wunmi Toriola etc and he will still go ahead to singlehandedly produce, write, direct, act and sing in his own movie only to produce a movie wayyyy below average.

And he is a very talented actor, he should know better walahi. Everyone around him should tell him the truth. He cannot do it all and produce quality.

I’m not saying he’s not good. Get that right

"I Was Focused On My Music , Hushpuppi Was The One Taking My Name Around As His Enemy "

-M. I Abaga narrates why he got hated by HushPuppi

In the year 2009, I was wearing the crown of Naija New Rap King, a short man with a head too heavy for the Headies hehehehe

Brymo brought in peace with Oleku and Ice-Prince, giving the vibes for the Blackberry King and Queens pinging. Chocolate City was fly.

I was with the crew (Choc City) at the car park of Murtala Mohammed International Airport of Lagos when we bought table water from a man who would later beg for a selfie from me and Ice-Prince(Normal fan love).

I politely gave him a signal, apologizing for crossing our paths at the wrong time as we were in a rush to catch a flight to Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia, and could not spare a second for a selfie. I ended it with "Sorry bro❤️".

A few years later, in 2014/15. I saw a man who started trending on social media for his Pl***oy lifestyle.

I didn't recognize him until I saw a post of my name being mentioned in his comment section on Instagram, where he used me as a motivating factor with the caption, "I WAS SNUBBED BY M.I BUT NOW MY MONEY CAN BUY HIM AND CHOCOLATE CITY.".

I laughed so loud when I saw the caption because, come on, being famous doesn't mean I can please everyone at the same time; why take it that personally? and why are you in a war with a man who doesn't even think of you? That is suic!dal!

Well, I was glad I could be a motivating factor to someone out there, you know.

I will later learn that my motivation student was a high profile fr , I laughed again because he failed to understand A GOOD NAME IS BETTER THAN GUCCI AND VERSACE"

At this point, it’s safe to say we should leave Nigerian movies for the Yorubas.

Omo, this movie Chioma Chukwuka featured in, Seven Doors, had me smiling like a bu*nt goat.

The effort these guys put into Yoruba films to make them so enjoyable—mehn, I’ve never seen others do it like this.

Movie title: Seven Doors

It’s on Netflix. If you watch this movie and don’t enjoy it, I’ll personally refund your data and send you 5GB.

I don’t know who produced it, but I have to give them their flowers—mehn, they nailed it!

He is not among the Nollywood actors that would get grants from Netflix and buy cars, build Houses and produce low quality movies😅😅

He has been producing good movies before Netflix arrived Nollywood

He believes that a good product would surely market itself

None of his movies you can rate below average with objective mind movie analysis

Apart from that he was born into this Job,he learned, unlearned and still learning

Femi Adebayo is different Nollywood producers that are using Netflix grant in living fake lives that are bringing shame to the Industry

Keep on producing good movies and be representing the good images of Nollywood

You're celebrated,sir
